Brief description: The E4 stings (Esting) are created by viewers in a competition. They are made in many different
What do you see? ways such as; animation, stop motion and even just simple video. The Esting in the image to
the left was created though animation. The logo is always the centre of the Esting as it is
basically an advertisement for the channel. This sting starts with environment which is a
striped floor. On the floor there are some oval shapes.
Techniques used: The colours are typical to an E4 sting and are well known. The whole sting is made through
Animation, Visual Effects, Colour Rendering, animation techniques. The objects animated are very simple but are also random at the same
Graphics, Movement time.
Advanced techniques: The image throughout is very sharp but when the ‘E wing’ is flapping it is blurred to give off the
Blur, Sharpen, Distortion, Rotation, Opacity effect that it is going very fast.
Technical comments: The sting has an aspect ratio of 16:9. It can be shown in HD.
