I am very pleased to provide a reference for Mr. Salman Saeed, born December 5, 1994,
whose work I supervised during his internship at NovaMed Pharmaceuticals from June 1 to
August 15th, 2014. During this time, he worked in the research and development
Department and Quality Assurance. His work comprised mainly biochemical, industrial and
Quality assurance techniques for medicine.
Principal Techniques practiced by him include
• HPLC chromatography techniques
• Atomic absorption technique for Quality Assurance
• Karl fisher and FTIR techniques used in the Quality Lab
• Sterilization technique used for injections
• Introduction with the fermenters used in production
Mr. Saeed always showed a good knowledge of laboratory and industrial techniques and a
sound theoretic background. His command over computer programs such as MS Office was
commendable and he worked as an excellent team member which helped him adjust easily
creating a friendly environment.
Mr. Saeed was a pleasure to have at the factory and laboratory, consistently showing his
enthusiasm, excellent work, ethic, and positive spirit. These characteristics, together with
the responsibility in performing the tasks entrusted to him, will allow him to be integrated
