6. STAFF RESPONSIBILITIES
TECHNICIAN

Technicians may expect to have direct contact with machines and components,
working in the lab and occasionally in the field and at the proving grounds,
observing, operating and testing the product or component
Conducting performance and development tests including investigations as per the
given instruction
Recording test data
Assist engineers in delivering results to plan
Carry out given modifications, innovative activities of the machines & equipment
Accountability for delivering quality work in required timescales
Maintain testing machines and equipment in expected levels with records
Maintain tools & equipment inventory with clean and working condition
Support ongoing process development and manufacturing.
Document experiments and results in fields notebooks with full traceability.
 Conduct searches on identified topics relevant to the research.
