SONIC –
What is sound?
Since the day man stood upright, most of our time on planet earth has been spent outdoors. It is only in the last
one hundred years that we have started to spend most of our days indoors. From this, we should learn that
evolution has adjusted our hearing for what was important in outdoor environments. Room acoustics should
therefore adapt a building to mimic the acoustic conditions that exist outside. Sound is physically described as
periodical fluctuations in density propagating through a media - in most cases the fluctuations of air pressure in
the air surrounding us. We experience sound when these fluctuations are transmitted to our ears and from there
are transferred as nerve signals to our brains. These facts have been a foundation in our product development
process at SONIC. We constantly work with the development of acoustic products that not only absorb but also
efficiently diffuse and block sound in order to create possibilities for the best possible indoor environment.

Successful acoustic design requires both a good
understanding of the unique properties of each panel
type as well as a correct analysis of the specific acoustic
needs of an interior. The panels can be combined in
different ways to meet the needs of almost any room or
environment. Our acoustic panels combine functionality
and aesthetics, and are specifically designed to enhance
the acoustic properties of any interior used for
communication and social interaction
SONIC –
SONIC panels are an ideal decorative acoustic material, made of 100% polyester fiber and density of
150kg/m. It has good performance: Eco-friendly, fire -resistance, heat insulation, moisture-proof and
mildew. Many patterns and colors are available to meet different levels of acoustic styles and decorative
requirements.
Product Feature
1) Sound Absorption property
 Like other porous material SONIC has sound absorption coefficient increases with the sound frequency. Its sound
absorption coefficient can reach 0.9-1.1.
 SONIC is a sound deadening material of high performance.
2) Physical Property
 SONIC is sound-absorbing, thermal resistant, elastic, water-resistant, impact-resistant, and hard to tear.
3) Decorative Property
 SONIC has excellent decorative effect. We offer you more than 20 colors for choice. You can also cut the acoustic
board into any shape in your favor.
4) Fireproof Property
 Public places like theaters, dance halls, Auditorium, Multipurpose hall, Gymnasium etc. have high requirement on
fire protection. Tested by National fire deception testing center, the acoustic board complies with the B1 grade
requirements of GB8624-2006 standard.
5) Security Property
 Thanks to its excellent physical property, acoustic board has no risk of falling and hurting people. Tested by
National research center of testing techniques for building materials, acoustic board's formaldehyde release
quantity is 0.1 and complies with the E1 grade requirements of GB 18580-2001 standards.
