optical fibres. These optical fibres are responsible for the lighted
surface and the shininess.
LUCEM combines high-class quality and timeless aesthetic: high-
grade concretes and translucent fibre that are durable and solid:

A new, turnkey product configuration, a back-lit modular 3D stone covering, where light drives the
design and the design directs the light into fascinating luminous and ornamental effects.
The collection was born from the sophisticated combination of design, surface processing and
thorough research into illumination techniques applied to the translucent properties of marble. Eight
names of stars for eight luminous coverings, whose all-over patterns were studied taking into
account their modularity and multi-functionality. Indeed, each texture provides a multi-purpose
aesthetic effect:
it has a strong impact even without back-lighting, and produces its maximum expression when back
light and grazing light are combined. Each module is equipped with an independent luminaire,
