B- बैलेंस (Balance)- स्ट्रोक पीड़ित व्यक्ति अपने शरीर पर बैलेंस खो देता है. वो ना सही तरीके से बैठ पाता है और ना ही खड़ा हो पाता है
E-आईज (Eyes)- अगर स्ट्रोक से पीड़ित व्यक्ति को एक आंख या दोनों आंखों से अचानक धुंधला दिखाई देने लगे या दिखाई ही ना दे, तो समझ लें कि ये स्थिति स्ट्रोक से जुड़ी हो सकती है.
F-फेस (Face)- स्ट्रोक में फेस यानी चेहरा एक तरफ मुड़ जाता है. इसमे व्यक्ति मुस्कुरा भी नहीं पाता है या ऐसा होता है कि फेस सीधा नहीं दिखता.
A-आर्म्स (Arms)- स्ट्रोक में बांहे यानी बाजू शिथिल यानी ढ़ीले (Loose) हो जाते हैं, और उन्हें ऊपर उठाने में दिक्कत होती है. साधारण भाषा में कहें तो उनमें जान नहीं रहती है.
S-स्पीक (Speak)- स्ट्रोक में पीड़ित को बोलने में परेशानी होती है, उसकी जुबान लड़खड़ाने लगती है.
T-टाइम (Time)- स्ट्रोक में सबसे अहम है टाइम. स्ट्रोक होने पर टाइम बर्बाद ना करते हुए मरीज को तुरंत ही अस्पताल पहुंचाएं, जहां तक हो सके अच्छी सुविधाओं वाले अस्पताल में ही ले जाएं. जहां एमआरआई, सीटी स्कैन और बेहतर आईसीयू की सुविधा हो.
