Vertical gardens and green walls are becoming more common ways to add greenery in urban environments with limited space. There are different systems for creating vertical gardens, including panel, felt, and smart cabinet systems. The felt system uses layers of felt and pipes to supply nutrients to the plants from a circulating water solution. It was used to create a green wall for a project in Sultangazi, Turkey, as detailed in the documents.

Why do we need green walls?
3. Panel System is the most sustainable, comprehensive and widely-used
system in the industry. The flexible, modular system can be installed on
virtually any outdoor surface in any hot or cold climate, and is designed
to resist heavy winds, wind drive rain and earthquakes. The system
consists of 5 main components:
- Panels: patent-pending 1 square foot stainless steel panels can be
customized to fit any design or wall type.
- Non-Soil Structural Growth Medium: patent-pending growth material
non-eroding to ensure plant longevity, and much lower maintenance
than loose soil systems.
- Plants: grown into the panels for several months before shipped to
site so that they will not blow away under strong winds or shake out of
the panels under seismic activity.
- Remote Irrigation/Fertilization System: computerized vertical drip
irrigation system with temperature and moisture sensors that allow for
24/7 remote monitoring- high efficiency since water is used only when
needed.

4. Felt System
On a load-bearing wall or structure is placed a metal frame that
supports a pvc plate 10 millimetres (0.39 in) thick, on which are stapled
two layers of polyamide felt each 3 millimetres (0.12 in) thick. These
layers mimic cliff-growing mosses and support the roots of many plants.
A network of pipes controlled by valves provides a nutrient solution
containing dissolved minerals needed for plant growth. The felt is soaked
by capillary action with this nutrient solution, which flows down the wall
by gravity. The roots of the plants take up the nutrients they need, and
excess water is collected at the bottom of the wall by a gutter, before
being re-injected into the network of pipes: the system works in a closed
circuit. Plants are chosen for their ability to grow on this type of
environment and depending on available light..
5. Smart Cabinet System

hallways and other places of high traffic.

eco-friendly, durable, easy to maintain and remarkably economical. The system is
comprised of 4 main components:

appears continuation of Vertical garden implementations in terms
of technique and implementations used. Since Meridien is a city
designer, it targets how much green it can produce with limited
areas it has in all its implementations and thus "floor gardens"
take their weighted place in implementations. SKY GARDEN
concept targets to create rich gardens with light load. It
implements gardens which garden owner can control and
maintain his/her garden without taking a step into garden for a
long time particularly with "INTELLIGENT GARDEN" concept it
implemented in floor gardens for which intervention is difficult. Of
course, the aim is to put the gardens into our life as much as
possible and to minimize the maintenance problems frightening
the user mostly as much as possible. Thus, user will only enjoy
