2. What is Literature ?
Literature is basically a writing that is
considered to be a work of art. Literature
includes play, novel, poetry and drama.
Or
We can also say that it is a printed material
about a particular subject

4. Indian classic literature
 Indian classic literature is generally
about all the “epics” of India.
 These dramas are written by famous
writers of ancient time like Kalidasa,
Tulsidasa.
 Some of the epics are Mahabharata,
Ramayana and Ram Charitrmanas.

5. The loom of Time by
Kalidasa
 One of the famous writing of Kalidasa
is written in this book which is known
as Abhijnanasakuntalam (The
Recognition of Sakuntala).
 This play is all about how the king
Dushant fell in love with Sakuntala
while hunting, how he forget his
memories with Sakuntala and how he
recognize her back.

6. Egyptian classic literature
 Egyptian literature or greek literature .
These are famous for the real life
stories as the scenes in these plays are
not insane but are related to life
instances.
 The famous greek drama is Oedipus.

7. The Three Theban Play
 The famous greek drama is Oedipus
the King is a WHODUNNIT.
 In this play Oedipus is investigating the
murderer of Thebes previous king.
 This play have a very tragic ending in
which Oedipus is found guilty for
mudering the Thebes king.
 At the end he hangs him to death .
