3. Well logging
i. It means the measurement of petrophysical
properties of rock in a drilled bore hole and it will
represent value against depth.
ii. Here the logging is through the wireline
logging System.

6. Caliper Log
i. Caliper tools measure hole size and shape.
ii. The simple mechanical caliper measures a
vertical profile of hole diameter.
iii. The more sophisticated geometry tools
records two simultaneous calipers and give an
accurate borehole shape and orientation.

8. Temperature log
The temperature of the earth usually increases
with depth, we can conclude that thermal
energy flows from the earth’s interior to the
surface.
Example : A well drilled into the earth, therefore
it shows a presistent rise in temperature in depth.
