2. What is Digital Electronics?
Digitalelectronicsis a field of electronics involving the study
of digital signals and the engineering of devices that use or produce
them.
3. Signal
A Signal is a function, that represents the variation of a physical quantity
with respect to any parameter.
Parameter- Independent QuantitylikeTime Or Distance
f(x) = - ax2 + bx + c
Function
Eg.
4. We will assume a boy measures the temperature variation at Gummidipoondi from 9am to 9 pm for every 1 hour
.(Remember during summer)
Example
9.00 a.m. 270 Celsius
10.00 a.m. 28.10 Celsius
11.00 a.m. 300 Celsius

F(t)= - at2 + bt + c

5. In Electrical/Electronic, usually the signal is the function represents the
variation of electrical quantity (generally voltage, Current) with time.
If voltage/current remains same for different time period, then its not a signal, it’s
a direct value (DC current /Voltage)
6. TRANSDUCER
It is a Electronic device which
converts, non electrical signal into
electrical signal.
E.G Microphone
Inverting Transducer, which converts electrical signal into non electrical
signal.eg. Speaker
