1. scrAPESbook Assignment<br />Purchase a 1 inch 3-ring binder or 100 page spiral notebook, to be used exclusively for this project.<br />Each quarter you will collect 5 newspaper articles related to Environmental Science.<br />On page 1 of each new quarter you will have a table of contents for the 1st quarter, see below. Place some kind of tab at this page, one for each quarter.<br />Body of the scrAPESbook:<br />On the left side (even numbered pages) you glue down the article, neatly and securely, folded neatly if it is a large article.<br />On the right side (odd numbered pages) You will write the following for that article:<br />A summary paragraph <br />An opinion paragraph with the following:<br />overall opinion/personal reflection of article. And I want you to start to “see” every issue has at least two sides to it so include:<br />benefits/pros/advantages… of the topic of article<br />disadvantages/cons/possible problems regarding this topic<br />Please type all work, aim for one full page, single spaced, size 12 font, 1 inch margins.<br />4. Do not place articles or your responses under plastic, I may write on them.<br />5.
