This document presents an automatic room light controller project designed by Kolhe Lalkrushna Nitin. The project aims to limit power waste by cutting power to lights and fans when rooms are unoccupied. It uses transmitters, receivers, and relays to detect the presence or absence of people in a room and control lighting circuits automatically. The significance is that it conserves electricity while also allowing users to know how many people occupy a room at a given time. However, it will not function during power outages and may not detect multiple simultaneous entries. Potential applications include use in homes, industries, automation systems, and assisting handicapped individuals.

4. Introduction
• Electricity is one of the most important resources in
this country, the electricity must be conserved, but
many times people come outside the room/hall
forgetting to turn off the lights/fan, thus the
electricity is wasted.
• The concept behind this project is to cut power
supply when there is no one in the room, thus
reducing energy consumption.

5. Aims
• This project aims at:
• Limiting power waste in schools, collages, offices and
conference halls.
• Making a controller which can sense if any person
enters the room and lights up automatically.

6. Objective
• To design and construct an Automatic room light
controller.
• Incorporate transmitters, receivers and relay to
detect the presence and absence of persons and do
the switching automatically.

8. Significance
• This system will not only look at controlling the room
light circuit, it will also help to know the number of
persons in a room at a particular time.

9. Limitations
• Because it uses electricity, it will not work when
there is power outage.
• And also the counter can not detect when two
people enter at the same time.

• It is very helpful for handicap persons.
• It can use in industries as automatic control.
• It can be used in automation system also, to control
bulb or any electrical appliances.
• It can be used in home use also, to control Bulb.
