I started TruVest, LLC. and made a commitment to myself and to my family that we would
create our very own economy and help others. We struggled with finding the right
investment vehicles that would allow us to achieve financial freedom. After numerous
months of research, we discovered Owner Financing. Immediately, we started helping
buyers by offering Owner Financing for their home purchases. We worked specifically with
buyers that did not qualify for a conventional mortgage from brick and
mortar lenders. We have always offered a fixed interest rate of 6.50%, with no crazy legal
contracts, and very straight forward repayment terms.
After several years of providing Owner Financing, an industry colleague introduced
us to Non-Performing Real Estate Notes investments. At first, we did not think that Note
Investments would fit into our business models and processes. Yes, we were highly
skeptical! But once we found out that we could assist homeowners that were in
distress and wanted to stay in their homes, and make solid profits, we were in! By doing
thorough research, asking the right questions, and understanding the concepts behind
how real estate notes worked; opened up another world to us. By becoming the bank on
each deal that we purchase, this allows us to work directly with the homeowner(s) to
establish a non-adversarial financial repayment plan that works for all parties involved.
