Mop trouble shoot dc rectifier
1. METHODE OF PROCEDURE
DC RECTIFIER
TROUBLE SHOOTING
Most of DC Rectifier trouble shooting related to un-supplied load.
Follow this general procedure for trouble shooting.
1. Check AC Input Rectifier
* The AC Input voltage should be in it range
* If there’s no voltage, check the input breaker at ACPDB. Verify there’s no tripped MCB.
If all MCB in ON position and there’s still no voltage, it could mean input failure occur and
Rectifier should be running on Battery Mode
2. Check physical condition of rectifier system for any broken / burnt
3. Open Distribution Rack of Rectifier System
Make sure all power cable to load connected to MCB’s load and the appropriate MCB closed /
connected.
* Rectify the lost connection (If any)
* Reconnect (Turn On) MCB (If any MCB is trip), If MCB still trip when it turn on, check at the load
side for any short circuit issue
4. Check connection cable from load Bar to MCB, should be connected
* Retightening if any bad / loosen connection
5. Check DC voltage (using DC multi meter) at Load Bar, both Load bar Priority and Load Bar Non
Priority (For Dual Priority System). The voltage should be approximately with floating voltage
* If there’s no voltage for any Load Bar, check Load Voltage Disconnect (LVD) contactor
condition, it should be connected
NO FLOAT VOLTAGE DETECTED
6. Check All Rectifier Power modules
* Verify it proper inserted to the Rack System and all rectifier running (indicted by green LED on
power modules)
* Check for any alarm in rectifier power modules (indicated by red LED / Yellow on power
modules)
* Rectify all this alarm indicator by checking on Controller Unit (module with display)
RECTIFIER SYSTEM CAN NOT BACK-UP LOAD
7. Check All battery MCB
* Reconnect (Turn On) MCB (If any MCB is trip), If MCB still trip when it turn on, check at the
battery side for any short circuit issue
8. Check the battery voltage
The voltage should be approximately with floating voltage
9. Check all battery connection
* Retightening if any bad / loosen connection
SYSTEM TESTING
10. Turn off AC Input Rectifier
* Rectifier should be able to run on Battery Mode
