Oracle MAF + Oracle MCS
Challenges / Opportunities:
• Provide a agile tool to the sales force so they can work with their corporate
CRM (Siebel). The CRM currently provides a versión for mobile browsers but
its usability is not adequate, and online connection is required to work.
• Develop specific application for iOS and Android devices.
• Allow 100% offline usage.
• Incorporate Oracle MCS.
Solution:
• Development of the application with Oracle MAF.
• Same CRM database is built in SQLite.
• Use of web services to sync the data.
• Publish the web services in Oracle MCS.
• In Phase 1 a small number of the services.
Results/ Benefits:
• Availability of CRM data at any time and situation
• CRUD of centers and contacts data.
• Manage orders.
• Dashboard.
• Short development time.
• IFC has gained efficiency in their sales processes.
Next steps:
• The next phases of the project will add new features :
• Training courses in the app.
• Publishing catalogs.
• Integrate all services with Oracle MCS and analytics.
