WestLB Mellon Asset Management (UK) Limited is a joint venture between WestLB AG and Bank of New York Mellon Corporation managing over 40 billion euros for institutional and retail investors. Rondal Eric Powell was hired as Senior Sales Manager in January 2007 by WestLB Mellon Asset Management (UK) Limited, Niederlassung Düsseldorf based on his experience in asset management and investment banking. Throughout his time there, he was responsible for contacting new clients and offering specialized investment products. While employed, he demonstrated a strong understanding of the asset management industry and worked energetically on initiatives involving specialist products and services. However, his employment concluded in September 2007 following a strategic review of the company's marketing resources.

Rondal Eric P o w e l l took up employment with the company as Senior Sales Manager on 1st
January 2007.
He was contracted to WestLB Mellon Asset Management (UK) Limited, Niederlassung Düsseldorf,
for a year based on his experience in origination in asset management and investment banking.
WestLB Mellon Asset Management (WMAM) group is acting as a global asset manager with fund
management capabilities located in USA, Europe and Australia. This joint venture of WestLB AG
and Bank of New York Mellon Corporation is managing throughout its different companies
portfolios of approximately 40 Billion EURO for institutional and retail investors. WMAM (UK)
Limited Düsseldorf Branch is specifically responsible for offering alternative and structured
products to German investors.
Throughout the time Ron spent with the company, he was responsible for contacting new clients to
offer a specialised product range to them.
He demonstrated a sound grasp of strategic issues and the dynamics affecting the asset
management industry.
Importantly he also demonstrated considerable energy and high activity levels over the period he
was employed by WMAM, working on a series of initiatives around specialist products and services.
His investment banking experience enabled him to work with investment banking partners to
structure vehicles through which the WMAM private equity product could be successfully offered to
clients.
Ron has a good technical understanding of complex investment products and service. This in turn
enabled him to play an important part in the launch of Transition Management services for the Bank
of New York Mellon Corporation in Germany.
Ron was appointed Executive Director, when he started working with us.
As a result of a strategic review of WMAM’s marketing resources, Ron’s employment was
concluded at end September 2007. We would like to thank Ron for his efforts on behalf of WMAM
and wish him all the best for the future, both in his professional and private life.
