NRI, a nationwide leader in digital, print and technology equipment
solutions for the AEC industry, today announced the launch of Jobsite Tech Group, LLC.
Jobsite Tech Group was formed in response to the NRI clients’ needs for technology expertise and
equipment on their construction sites. Jobsite Tech Group is dedicated to the sole purpose of assisting
organizations in the AEC industry with the adoption of new technology, processes and solutions, all
designed to improve efficiency, collaboration and coordination, and to meet the increasing demands of tech
savvy owners and design teams.
“We started Jobsite Tech Group (JTG) so we could effectively address the increasing demands of the
industry”, said NRI’s President Doug Magid. “NRI is one of the most experienced and trusted data
management and technology providers in the AEC industry. The technology demands at the jobsite are so
extensive and are evolving so rapidly that serving these needs requires a comprehensive yet focused
solution. Many of our partners are joining us in this effort.”
JTG has other investors besides NRI, including VIMtrek, a company dedicated to building project
collaboration through visual information modeling using virtual reality. VIMtrek’s president is the well-known
AEC entrepreneur Arol Wolford. Wolford was the Founder and CEO of Construction Market Data (CMD)
and was an investor and board member with Revit when it was acquired by Autodesk. VIMtrek and Wolford
add true innovative leadership to JTG as well as incredible reach into additional partners worldwide.

Jobsite Tech Group will be led by Ron Perkins. Perkins has spent decades in the AEC industry working with
organizations like CMD, Architects’ First Source, Autodesk Buzzsaw, Hewlett Packard, Adenium Systems
and NRI. As Director of Business Development at NRI he developed the techsuite™ program with Williams
Scotsman and changed the way both organizations address the technology demands at the jobsite.
