The Center for Research and Learning (CRL) at IUPUI is a division of the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research that is dedicated to serving students through undergraduate research programs. The CRL's mission is to promote inquiry-based learning programs that integrate research and education. It offers numerous summer and academic year programs to provide students opportunities to conduct research with faculty mentors and gain professional skills and experience.

The Center for Research and Learning (CRL) is
a division of the IUPUI Office of the Vice Chancellor for
Research (OVCR) dedicated to serving students through
an array of undergraduate-research programs.
These initiatives offer students the opportunity to carry
out innovative research, scholarship, and creative
activity with faculty mentors through internally and
externally funded programs.
CRL’s Mission is
To promote, create, and coordinate, through partnerships
within and outside the institution, implementation of
innovative inquiry-based learning programs that integrate
research and education to provide students with effective
pathways for lifelong active learning and professional
development.
CRL’s Vision is
To create and sustain world-class programs in inquiry-based
student learning through innovative multidisciplinary
collaboration and effective mentoring and promote
lifelong active learning and professional development.
