The mission was clear: draw on our decades of experience making footwear for the world’s most demanding
consumers to design and develop a new line of motorcycle boots.
Our product development team dove head first into the project, first researching the unique requirements that
motorcyclists need in their footwear and integrating our proprietary, high quality materials into the design process.
The result is a line of performance driven boots engineered to deliver unprecedented protection, performance and all-
day comfort both on and off the bike. The same footwear design characteristics we have lived by since 1885.
Bates proudly serves as the largest supplier of footwear to the United States Military, the Department of Defense,
and public safety departments throughout the United States. Just like the men and women we proudly serve, we are
