2. •PFA was launched in 1992 by well known animal’s rights activist Smt. Maneka
Sanjay Gandhi.
•People for Animals also known as PFA is India's largest animal welfare
organization with a nationwide network of 26 hospitals, 165 units and 2.5 Lakh
members.
•At present, we have a nationwide network of 165 units, 26 hospitals and 60
mobile units.
•PFA aims to have an animal welfare centre in each of the nation's 600 districts.
3. •PFA to act as a strong network of promising people who will
protect animals against cruelty & work to bring about a change in
attitudes, laws and lifestyles towards improving conditions for
animals around India.
• Upgraded facilities for animal rescued and rehabilitation such as
shelters, ambulances & help centre's.
4. Mission & Vision
•To practice the same to an end to animal exploitation in all
walk of life & to ensure that justice is made out to them.
•Willingness towards a reformed world where animals lead a
better & dignified life free of hunger pain & fear.
6. CONCLUSION
•The functioning of the NGO was a great experience for me.
• By observation and opinions of the natives of slums we can
clearly see error in execution of government approach.
•Now I very well understand that how and where applications of
management can be done.
•People should know about the
animal rights.
