COMPACT
TRANSPORTABLE AND COMPACT IN EVERY WAY
An Air Quality Monitoring Station (AQMS) is a system that measures
metrological parameters such as wind speed, temperature, barometric
pressure and ambient parameters.
The COMETS AQMS also integrates a series of ambient analyzers to monitor
the concentration of air pollutants (such as NO, NO2, NOx, CO, PM10, PM2.5,
BC, BTEX, etc.), continuously.
ETS also provides mobile monitoring stations that can be customized to your
needs, used to monitor ambient conditions at multiple sites.

Our Serinus® 30 carbon monoxide (CO) analyser delivers precise and reliable performance at excellent value. It uses proven NDIR gas filter correlation

EN 16450 approved fine dust aerosol spectrometer for simultaneous measurement of PM2.5 and PM10, featuring a separate sensor for existing
ceiling glands
Fidas® 200 E is an aerosol spectrometer developed specifically for regulatory air pollution control. It analyzes continuously
the fine dust particles present in the ambient air in the size range 180 nm – 18 µm and calculates simultaneously the
immission values PM10 and PM2.5 to be monitored by law. At the same time PM1, PM4, PMtot, the particle number
concentration Cn and the particle size distribution are calculated and recorded. It thus delivers comprehensive information
about the fine dust particles, as only provided by a counting, single particle measuring principle.

6. [BLACK CARBON] ANALYSER
BLACK CARBON AEROSOLS
The Aethalometer is the instrument most-used in the world for the real-time measurement of aerosol Black Carbon. The Model AE33 is the culmination
of almost 40 years of experience and development. It provides accurate data with aerosol speciation on time-scales as rapid as 1 second, using our
patented DualSpot™ technology and multi-wavelength optical analysis.
THE DUALSPOT™ MEASUREMENT METHOD
The Model AE33 Aethalometer incorporates the patented DualSpot™ measurement
method. This completely solves the loading-dependent nonlinearity which affects the
data from any filter-based optical analyzer. The method explicitly does not require any
knowledge or assumption about the existence, origin or magnitude of any optical
nonlinearity: in fact, the calculation yields the “Loading Compensation Parameter” as an
instrumental data output, which may offer insights into the origins and optical
properties of the aerosol.
7-WAVELENGHT OPERATION: UV-IR, 1HZ DATA
The analysis is performed at 7 optical wavelengths spanning the range from the near-
infrared (950 nm) to the near-ultraviolet (370 nm). The sequencing of illumination and
analysis is performed on a 1-Hz time base. This yields the complete spectrum of aerosol
optical absorption with one data line every second.
REAL-TIME SOURCE APPORTIONMENT
An Ångström Exponent model is used in real time to calculate the fraction of BC that may be attributed to biomass combustion.
CALIBRATION AND IN-FIELD VALIDATION
The optical performance of the Model AE33 Aethalometer may be validated by the ‘Neutral Density Optical Filter Kit’, consisting of four precision
optical elements whose absorbance is traceable to fundamental standards. Software routines measure the optical intensities at all wavelengths and
compare the analysis at the instant with the original reference values. Other built-in test programs offer routine checks of stability and leakage. These
features provide the Quality Assurance that is essential both for routine monitoring and research use.
USER AND COMMUNICATIONS INTERFACES
User and communications interfaces permit remote monitoring of operation; data retrieval; performance of internal tests; and reporting of ‘state‐of‐
health’ parameters. Networked services offer automated status reports, issuing daily ‘Green’ reports when the instrument is functioning correctly;
‘Yellow’ reports when the instrument detects that it will need routine attention soon; and ‘Red’ reports immediately upon detecting any fault
condition.
RUGGED, RELIABLE, AUTOMATIC
The Aethalometer has been developed over almost 40 years to offer rugged, reliable, and automatic operation. The Aethalometer recovers
automatically from power interruptions and no operator attention is required for weeks or months, other than replacing the roll of filter tape.

Compact analyser for the real time monitoring of Benzene, Toluene, Ethylbenzene and Xylene in ambient air, compliant with EN14662-3:2015.
Our BTEX compact analyzer for the real time monitoring of Benzene,
Toluene, Ethylbenzene and Xylene in ambient air. It is perfect for both
indoor and outdoor application. PyxisGC BTEX is manufactured is
compliant with EN14662-3:2015.
The BTEX GC can measure those compounds thanks to the MEMS (Micro
Electro-Mechanical Systems) pre-concentrator, GC separation column,
based on a proprietary silicon micromachined chip and the miniaturized
Photoionization detector (PID) that quantifies the peaks.
The BTEX GC is equipped with a Cloud software to monitor and manage the acquired data: it is easily accessed via browser on your phone, tablet or
PC. The Pollution Guardian Cloud software stores up and archives analysis data automatically, it allows the real time data and the historical data
viewing (with creation of charts, tables, graphs and other statistical analyses).
