2. Hello! I’m Robyn Bolton. I am originally from Los Angeles,
California. I am currently living in henderson, Nevada. During my
free time I enjoy spending time with my family, shopping, and
exercising.

3. Professional Life
I am currently a teacher in Clark County. I have been
teaching for 7 years now. 4 years were spent in second
grade and three years, including this year have been
spent teaching third grade. This school year was spent
doing distance learning, which has been a learning curve,
but I always look forward to learning new things!
4. After completion of my Masters I hope to create instructional
materials for teachers. I figure who better to make those materials
than an actual teacher!? I hope to bring a fresh perspective for
creating instructional materials for teachers and incorporate Fun and
engaging activities for students that meet the needs of all learners.

My favorite communication tool is email. I like that you can see all the information that is sent in one place. You don’t have
to worry about a character limit. You can just type freely. Professionally it is a lifesaver because any important information
is stored, and you can always refer to it. If you cannot remember when the email was sent or are like me and you let your
email overflow before checking it, you can always search the email using keywords, or the senders name and you can find
the email that way.
I also enjoy social media like many other people. The instant response that you get from people makes social media a great
communication tool. Usually, the notification pops right up and you can talk to people instantly if they are online the same
time you are. Social media is also a great way to build a portfolio of all the amazing things that you do.
7. COURSE
EXPECTATIONS
Through this course I hope to gain a better
understanding what a good learning enviornment
entails. I want to be able to Work on creating a
learning environment that is engaging to learners.
Through the participation in group work, I hope to
learn how to be efficient when working with a team
remotely.
