1. Strain becomes head of global automotive at
Goodpack

Robert Strain has left his role as vice-president
of the automotive sector for Asia Pacific at Ceva Logistics to take up a new position at Goodpack
as head of global automotive. Goodpack provides steel intermediate bulk containers to global
markets.
“Robert will be responsible for all aspects of the automotive vertical segment for Goodpack on a
global basis, including solutions development, sales and revenue, go-to market strategies and
business execution,” said Goodpack’s CEO, Brian Lutt. “We are pleased that Robert has joined
Goodpack and we are excited that he will be able to quickly engage with the team and begin the
work necessary to accelerate Goodpack’s customer growth within the automotive segment.”
Prior to his last position at Ceva, Strain spent 14 years with General Motors in Asia, Latin
America and the US in its container and supply chain groups. His last role for the carmaker was
in charge of daily operations for global logistics and containers.
Commenting on his new role Strain said: “The move and company represented the ideal
opportunity to combine and leverage my automotive logistics, packaging and 3PL experience

industry.”
Strain is currently living in Singapore with his family and will start work with the company from
there before repatriating to the US where he will be based in Detroit, Michigan.
