December 2013- Present Summit Midstream
Senior Gas and Liquid Pipeline Controller overseeing a
Sweet Crude system in North Dakota along with Natural
Gas assets in North Dakota, Colorado, Utah, Texas, West
Virginia and Ohio.
• Coordinate with upstream and downstream pipes along
with the field and scheduling to maintain daily
scheduled volumes, plan and execute any planned or
unplanned maintenance and adjust units as needed.
• Address any pipeline anomalies that are witnessed in, or
reported to, the control center in a timely manner and
coordinate with field personnel, emergency/government
services and upstream/downstream pipes when
applicable to resolve the situation as soon as possible.
• Document all normal and emergency related events
within a daily log to ensure that a detailed record of all
pipeline events is kept.
• Rapidly coordinate with third parties and scheduling to
re-route flow when needed to ensure maximum
throughput when unplanned events arise.
• Assist in the creation of screens/procedures for new
systems acquired by the company.
• Trained new (but experienced) employees on system
specifics of both our oil and gas desk.
• Routinely verify alarm limits for new points along with
current points to make sure that they evolve with
changes frequently made to the systems.
• Regularly suggest and assist in implementing procedures
that increase safety and record keeping throughout the
systems.
• Visit field locations, interview field personnel and create
presentations to present to other controllers to increase
everyones understanding of field operations.
2. July 2011- December 2013 Enterprise Products
Gas Controller overseeing Western Operations. This
system is comprised of four unique systems in New Mexico
Colorado and Wyoming producing over 4BCF a day.
