1. As can be seen here, on the left (above) is the ‘Fallout 3’ title, and on the right is my
film opening’s title. The eroded effect of my title was directly inspired by the ‘Fallout
3’ one.
I discovered that the eroded effect of the fonts is commonly used in ‘Post-
Apocalyptic’ films and games. It is a conventional aspect of the genre, and so, in order
to help entice audiences of the genre, I conformed to the convention.
As for the name of the title itself, I kept I relating to the environment and setting of
the film, much like ‘Fallout’ relates to the nuclear fallout in which the game takes
place.
