4. What is cognitive health and what are
the adverse effects caused by it ?
• Cognitive health is the ability to clearly think, learn, and remember. Functions such as motor
skills, emotional responses, and sensory responses indicate a resilience to neuropathological
damage. Genetic, environmental, and lifestyle factors are all thought to
influence cognition and health.
• cognitive impairment is when a person has trouble remembering, learning new things,
concentrating, or making decisions that affect their everyday life. Cognitive
impairment ranges from mild to severe.

• Exercising on a daily basis.
• Having a positive social circle.
• Having a healthy circadian rhythm.
• Having a well-balanced diet.

6. Benefits of
Exercising
• When you exercise, your
body releases chemicals
called endorphins.
These endorphins interact
with the receptors in your brain
that reduce your perception of
pain. Endorphins also trigger
a positive feeling in the body,
similar to that of morphine.

• Yoga is essentially a spiritual
discipline based on an
extremely subtle science,
which focuses on bringing
harmony between mind and
body. It is an art and science
of healthy living. The word
'Yoga' is derived from the
Sanskrit root 'Yuj', meaning 'to
join' or 'to yoke' or 'to unite'.

from the perspective of an
individual who is the locus of a
particular group of socially
interconnected people and
from the perspective of the
group as a cohesive unit.

11. Circadian Rhythm
• A circadian rhythm is a natural,
internal process that regulates the
sleep-wake cycle.
• Circadian rhythms has a critical role in
immune system homeostasis.
• Both innate and adaptive immune
responses - ranging from leukocyte
mobilization, trafficking, and
chemotaxis to cytokine releases and
T cell differentiation – are mediated in
a time of day–dependent manner.
12. Balanced Diet
• A well-balanced diet provides
important vitamins, minerals
and nutrients to keep the body

Eating well can also help ward
off numerous diseases and
health complications, as well
as help maintain a healthy
body weight, provide energy,
