STATEWARE - GENOME WEBAPP
Currently working on developing and designing a 3D genome visualization app with the ability to
show disease susceptibility and associated probability, using JavaScript on the front end and PHP
with a MongoDB database at the back end.
CAPSTONE SENIOR DESIGN PROJECT
Currently working on a senior design project developing smart distributed sensors in a wireless
mesh network for an Internet of Things (IoT) application on the ThingWorx platform. Worked on
sensor driver software on Raspberry Pi’s using Python and C.
Experience and Skills
PROGRAMMING EXPERIENCE - C++, JAVA, C
Created a desktop application to schedule and maintain appointments using Java GUI handlers
and database management using mySQL.
Wrote a non-trivial file system using CRUD device UNIX environment, implemented a memory
allocation services (malloc and free), and a packet sniffer and spoofer in C.
EMBEDDED AND SECURITY EXPERIENCE
Embedded software design using assembly language on HCS12C128 board.
Worked with information and network security concepts like cryptography, authentication, autho-
risation, etc and implemented crypto algorithms (DES, 3DES, RSA, etc.) using Java/C++.
OTHER SKILLS
Experience with Bash scripting, Ruby, functional programming with Common Lisp.
Fluent in English and Hindi with a working knowledge of French.
Accomplishments
Participated in THON with the EASI house, raising over $5,000 over the year 2012-13.
