Alonso Mendoza is a student at California State University Monterey Bay studying Computer Science and Information Technology. He is expected to graduate in May 2016 with a Bachelor of Science degree through the CSIT-In-3 program, which allows students to graduate in 3 years with a concentration in Software Engineering. Mendoza has received academic scholarships including the Matsui Scholarship and STEM Scholarship. He is proficient in C++, Java, and Spanish and has intermediate skills in Python. Mendoza has technical experience developing apps for Salesforce and creating 3D images. He currently interns at Hopkins Marine Station working on an outreach website about snail disease.

● Worked on a fishing app in a team of three. Learned how to use the Salesforce environment at a
proficient level (C code).
● Data driven project which collects info from users who fish so that other users can use that
information to improve their fishing experience.
3D image creator, Spring 2014
● Created a 3D image using two separate images on the Jython environment.
● Was responsible for changing the pixel colors on each image using a variety of loops with the
python language in a team of two.
Snails vs Prawns project, Fall 2014
Intern at Hopkins Marine Station in Monterey which is a Stanford facility. Currently working
with a group of 8 to develop an outreach website to inform the public on the snail disease.
