Testimonials
“Rindy worked in my team for 18 months and in that time transformed my working life. Her efficient,
pro-active and highly organised manner alleviated the stress of trying to manage my own busy diary and
meeting scheduling and allowed me to focus on achieving my aggressive financial targets. Rindy has a
highly professional approach and displays a strong desire to develop and continue to grow both
personally and professionally. This coupled with her vivacious and sunny personality make her a true
asset to any team.”
Amanda Vint, NPE&D Manager – Standardisation & Productivity EMEA, Avon UK
"Rindy is an outstanding EA who took the time to learn my ways of working even though there were up
to four partners with different styles and personal preferences. She quickly understood what my
priorities were and how I had established those priorities. Thus Rindy was able to determine the urgency
and importance of matters for me without constant recourse to me. She immediately grasped the
importance to me of "house-style" and adjusted her own preferred style when dealing with my clients
and contacts so that many of them almost felt that they were dealing with me personally. I would be
happy to recommend her in a similar role without any hesitation."
Jim Muir, former Partner and Head of Financial Services, RSM
“Rindy Anstee worked as my PA for a period of four years, being 2003-2007, when I was the Senior
Associate Pastor of Abundant Life Church and Principal of the Abundant Life Leadership Academy.
Because my role was very varied, I required a PA with a broad range of skills; both technical and
pastoral. Her strengths in the role quickly became apparent, first bringing efficiency to the role due to
her keen eye for the detail of the processes we managed, then secondly proving invaluable because of
her people skills. In the period she worked for me our organisation grew and I was able to attain a
number of targets because of the mutual trust and understanding we enjoyed. I would highly
recommend Rindy as a highly skilled PA with excellent social skills.”
Stephen Matthew - Speaker, Author, Church Coach and Principal of the Building Church Academy
“During my time as Director of Abundant Life Publishing, Rindy was a valued team member using her
excellent proof reading and copy editing skills to great effect across a range of publications.”
Stephen Matthew - Speaker, Author, Church Coach and Principal of the Building Church Academy
Testimonial: Rindy Anstee
There are two types of qualities a great PA should have:
Essentials:
Accuracy and Attention to detail: Your reputation will depend on the quality of your PA’s work. It needs
to be first rate
Control of the diary: Your productivity depends on your PA’s effectiveness with this critical tool. If you
travel, you need to be able to trust completely in the arrangements your PA makes for you.
Tact and discretion: Your PA will be privy to things that should not be general knowledge. No
relationship can survive betrayal of confidence.
Nice to Have’s: The difference between an “OK” PA and a great PA
Political sensibilities: A senior member of staff will inevitably be involved in things that have impact on
many areas of the organisation. If their PA is alive to what’s going on and the key people and issues,
he/she can help keep you up to date in your absence. Your PA can position what you do to enable you to
be more effective.
The ability to take the initiative. A good PA will read the mails and alert you to what’s hot, again making
your time more effective.
The ability to be a good listener: Your PA will come into regular contact with many parts of the
organisation. He/she can alert you to developing issues, discontent, or things that are affecting morale.
Rindy’s capabilities and performance in these areas was one of the best that I have encountered in 20
years of working with a PA. I cannot remember times where she made material errors or caused me a
problem through the quality of what she did. I travelled extensively and never had the habit (or the
need) to check the arrangements she made for me. I would study them on my phone as I left the house,
trusting that she had thought of all the details. I trusted her implicitly and never found her wanting.
Rindy has life experience. She applies that to what she does and sees the back-story behind the things
that are going on. I was able to rely on her to “watch my back” when out of the office. She also routinely
scanned my mails and alerted me to urgent and important things so that I could attend to them
promptly when back on line. I was surprised at how quickly she became able to sort the “important few”
from the “trivial many”. She also was able to alert me to any issues that as a leader, I had to address so
as to keep the motivation and direction of my areas in good shape.
In an age where computers take care of the routine stuff, and AI promises to help us with the non-
routine, it might seem that a human being as a PA is “of the past” and will become like a blacksmith,
thatcher or wheelwright. Not yet though, and while a senior leader has a need of a human being to help,
Rindy comes highly recommended.
Steve Fisher – former Executive Director of New Product Engineering & Development, EMEA, Avon UK
