Team. Rickyalso recentlyassistedintrainingthe UtahJazzPlayers
inthe Utah Jazz SummerLeague (2015). He workedand mentored
underlegendary StrengthCoachof the Utah Jazz, Mark McKown.
He has a greatunderstandingof rotational Bio-mechanicsand
trainingof the rotational sportathlete,suchasbaseball,lacrosse,
tennis,golf,andquarterbacks.He alsohasgreat understandingon
how to enhance the vertical jump,sprintingspeed,andoverall
athleticismof the athlete,while alsokeepingthemsafe frominjuryandonthe playingfield.Thisunique
traininghasbroughttremendousresultsineveryathletehe hastrained.
As a player,and professional,Ricky’sworkethicissecondtonone.AtTimpanogosHighSchool,Ricky
helpedleadhisbaseball teamtotwoState Championshipwinsin2004 and2005. He wasalso honored
as MVP of the 4A State TournamentAll-StarGame.He wentonto playshort-stopandpitchat Palomar
College inSanDiego,Ca.The Palomarbaseball teamwasranked#1 in SouthernCaliforniaand6thin the
nation.AfterPalomarCollege,Rickywentontoplayat Missouri BaptistUniversityinSt.Louis,MO,
where the teamranked 11th in the nationfor NAIA baseball. Whileplayingcollege baseballin California,
Rickywas trainedbyDr. Marcus Elliott,HarvardM.D., andtrainedalong-sidemanyprofessional
baseball,tennis,basketball,andlacrosse playersatPeakPerformance Project(P3) inSantaBarbara, Ca.
Duringthat time Rickywentfromthrowing82 MPH to 92 MPH inlessthana year’stime.Rickyearned
hisBachelor’sdegree inHealth,Physical Education,andRecreation.He alsospentthe fall of 2012
trainingall of USU athleticteamsasan assistantstrengthcoach.

mobilityandfunctionalmovementsneededforthe individual athlete dependingontheirsport,position,
and unique physical needs.The science behindhistrainingiscenteredonarecentphenomenoncalled
PostActivationPotentiation(PAP).Thisstyle of trainingincreasesmotorunitrecruitmentandforce
tremendously.
