*Truck Driver - Hauled flatbed, stepdeck, stretch RGN, gooseneck, and wind blade trailers. Loads included
crane components (crawler and hydraulic), wind blades, heavy construction equipment, agricultural equipment,
oil field equipment/parts, and various overdimensional/super loads. Helped maintain driver safety records.
Mentored a few drivers, helping them hone their driving/shifting skills and maintaining D.O.T. compliance
through electronic logging, proper hours of service, and daily vehicle inspections. Also taught them how to
operate equipment they had no experience with. Ferried trucks in/out of the ports to be un/loaded as a T.W.I.C.
card holder.
*Assistant Mechanic - Perform general maintenance or arrange for maintenance/repairs to be performed
by vendors. Locate, order, and/or pickup parts. Perform light to medium repairs such as lighting/electrical,
air, some hydraulic, and mechanical systems. Perform equipment checks on self-mobile cranes prior to
dispatch from yard or movement off location on longer jobs. Types of equipment maintained included cranes,
telehandlers, trucks, trailers, pickups, and tractors/implements.
Other duties included occasional operation of hydraulic crane (up to 350 ton class), telehandler, and wheel
loader. Some accomplishments included: • Transported first blade loads for new wind blade division. • Assisted
with D.O.T. audit. • Helped reduce tire costs due to blowouts by implementing tire pressure maintenance plan
prior to crane dispatch. • Mentored multiple drivers in honing their driving/shifting skills. • Helped improve
D.O.T. compliance by mentoring drivers on proper vehicle inspections, electronic logging, and hours of service
regulations.
Truck Driver / Rigger
2. NCSG Crane and Heavy Haul - Midland, TX - February 2014 to May 2015
*Truck Driver - Hauled flat, step, RGN, and stretch step trailers. Types of loads included crane components,
oil field equipment, construction equipment, generator/equipment skids, and various overdimensional loads
including some super loads such as a wind tower base section.
*Rigger - Assisted with crane setup, rigging loads such as drill rig derricks, draw works, etc. Provide standard
hand signals to crane operator when needed, or provide standard voice signals when radios available.
Related experience included driving, operating, assembly/disassembly or occasionally loading/unloading
equipment such as crawler crane (up to 110 ton class), large hydraulic crane (up to 240 ton class w/boom
dolly), forklift/telehandler, and bull dozer. Occasionally provided pilot/escort service to cranes or heavy haul
truck (Texas only). Responsible for daily safety paperwork. Occasionally performed light mechanical duties,
mostly related to air, electrical issues, or maintenance. Assisted mechanic with heavier jobs as needed. Helped

E&P Wireline - A Schlumberger Co - Midland, TX - September 2011 to February 2014
Responsible for driving, equipping, inspection, and maintenance of crew vehicles and equipment, including
wireline logger, boom truck, crew pickup, 35' gooseneck trailer, grease pump, lubricator/pressure control
equipment, explosives, and various downhole tools. Responsible for 2-4 member crew. Required to be familiar
with and properly certified in the handling of radiation, explosives, corrosives, and environmental contaminants.
Some accomplishments included:
• Assisted our Radiation Safety Officer with implementing program improvements.
• Obtained explosives clearance from US Dept. of Justice.
• Served as lead operator under 2 engineers/field specialists.
• Instrumental in improving D.O.T. compliance and safety through thorough inspections and reporting.
• Helped mentor/train multiple new CDL drivers, Junior Field Engineers/Specialists, and wireline operator
trainees.
