Shape Task
Evaluation
What did you like about your image?
The things I like about the images are it has the outline of the animal which I was
shaping over, I also like different colours and how they all bend together and mix's
together to form a fox. I also like that it looks quite natural and the colours of the
animal help it to seem more like a natural fox. I also like the detail that as been put
into the face as I think it helps it to look more realistic compared to a completely
abstract animal.
What would you improve if you did it again?
The things I would improve would be to blend the colours and make it fit and blend
the shapes. I would also choose another image or another animal that would be easier
or that’s not sat down or has things that things in front of it.
Rotoscope
Evaluation
What did you like about your image?
I like the realism of the face and how it looks a little like the subject and not too
cartoony. The different colours within the image are good as they make all the other
colours stand out and make the t-shirt look brighter. I also like the way the face sits
nicely on the shoulders which helps it to look more naturalistic.
What would you improve if you did it again?
I would finish the images and add more defined features like make the nose and the
ears stand out as well as outlining the shadows and different highlighted areas of the
face to make more realistic, as well add shadows to the t-shirt in the image. I would
also add a neck to the image so it doesn’t look like the head and hair are just floating
above the rest of the body.
Film Quotes
Evaluation
What did you like about your image?
I the use of the comic book effect in the image as it adds a bit of depth to the
image, it also links to the film from the quote as the film is linked to the characters
taking drugs, the effect and style of the image fits that theme of the film, it also
like the way one image is on top of the other but has been moved to the side a
little to make it look more like its double vision which emphasizes the drugs
theme from the film
What would you improve if you did it again?
The things I would improve would be to add more colour variation to the image,
as more colour might make it seem a little brighter as at the moment it looks
quite dark and shady. Another part of the image I would improve if I were to do it
again would be to adjust the text so that it fits with the actual image by adding
another layer exactly the same over the top and then moving one of the layers to
the side so it looks doubled like the normal image is.
Text Based
Text Based
Evaluation
What did you like about your image?
The things I like about the first image are, the different styles the name shows like
the one that’s overlapping as it demonstrates one of the things that can be done
with text using Photoshop. Another part of the first image I like is the bottom
name that’s stretched across the page as it looks like its quite good and can fill the
whole page. The things I like about the second image is the background used
behind the name as it makes it stand out from the other page quite a lot.
What would you improve if you did it again?
If I were to write my name again I would make the effects on the text look better
by making them wider then they are or putting them closer together as it would
add a little more effect to the name and the image. I would also change the colour
scheme to make the name look a little more brighter then it already is. To improve
the second page I would make the background of the name brighter or change it
to something more personal to the name.
Comic Book
Comic Book
Evaluation
What did you like about your image?
The things I like about the first comic book image that I produced are that it fits
with the image as its from a comedy and helps to emphasize that, I also like the
colours that are in image as it kind of matches the colour of the main vehicle in
the image. The things I like about the second comic book image I produced are
the colours as they match the background of the actual image, I also like the
image is less blurred around the face to make it stand out from the rest of the
image.
What would you improve if you did it again?
The things I would improve for the first comic book image would be to make sure
the background is less blurred from the rest of the image as it kind of blurs the
face of the man in the image. I would also add more colour to the image as its all
kind of yellow so doesn’t stand out very much. The things I would improve of the
second image would be to choose an image that isn’t as pixelated as the one I
picked. I would also change the colours of the foreground and make them a little
brighter then the background to help make the image stand.
Photo Story
Evaluation
What did you like about your image?
The things I like about the photo-story image is that, it does tell the story that I
wanted it to, the story of a guy who finds a key that unlocks a door and he ends
up finding another key, the images help to show this story as it shows the key
being found, the unlocking of the door and the second key on the floor. Another
thing I like about the image is the effects that are on the photo-story like the
effect of using the comic book effect on the first few photos until the key is found.
I also like the effect of making the image with the key in the door look a little
foggy.
What would you improve if you did it again?
If I was to create the photo-story again the things I would improve the quality of
the photographs taken as they are a little grainy so I would try to make sure the
images are taken with a device that has a better quality. I would also add more
effect to some of the plainer images like zoom in on the key or make the key a lot
brighter.
Illustration
Evaluation
What did you like about your image?
The things I like about the illustrations I created are the different objects that
I drew as they are all different drawings of animals or random objects that I
could find. I also like the use of the colour on one of the objects as it makes it
clearer and helps it to be seen on the page. I like that the outlines can be
clearly seen on the page and stands out from the white background and helps
to define the image a little more.
What would you improve if you did it again?
The things I would improve on the illustrations are the fact that the ones
without colour cannot be seen very well so I would make it so they are
brighter than the white background by adding colour to the images so they
stand out more like the green image. I would also add darker outlines so they
can be clearly defined on the paper. I would also draw bigger images to they
might be a bit clearer.
Narrative Environment
Evaluation
What did you like about your image?
The things I like about the image is the use of colour as it matches the original
image and makes it look good. I also like the way the image looks quite a lot
like the original image that is the background, the shapes also make the
image look good as they all form a good image and help make it stand out.
What would you improve if you did it again?
The things I would improve if I were to do it again would be to add more of
variation of colour to the image, I would also add more of the background to
it as I didn't’t finish the background completely so I would make sure the rest
of the background I half completed to the rest of the image to make sure it
makes the image look a little better add would add more quality to the rest of
the image if it was completely finished.

Story Overview
Modern day – A poor woman is looking for work as a cleaner and ends working for an
old man who is completely mental and changes the name of every object in the house
and confuses the woman and at the end the house accidently gets set on fire and to
help the man understand what is happening she has to refer to every object in its new
name.

Audience
The age of my target audience is around 3-5 years old, it might also appeal to kids that are a little bit older
as this is the age range that would like the type of writing and themes in the book. The gender that this
book would appeal to would be both genders as it explores themes for both genders. The book would
appeal to the any of the class’ as they all read books to their children. The book would also have to appeal
to the parents of the children as they will be the ones to pick out the books to read to their children, British
children are the main target for the book as they will be the people to understand the language and the
setting of the book, it could also be aimed at other English speaking country's like America or Australia. The
book would also appeal to any race of people but only predominantly white as they are the race of the
characters of the book.
Production Methods
The production methods I am going to use either photos or rotascoping to make the
characters look more cartoony then realistic, I will also use shapes for the background in some
of the pages to keep it simplistic for the reader as they will only be like 2-3 years old, with
rotascoping I can add a lot more detail to the characters to add more depth and feeling to the
face with the emotions, I can also have different shades to the face an shadows to give the
characters some sort of human qualities and human style while still looking cartoony.
What are the strengths of the proposal? What areas of the proposal need further work?
The proposal is very good as it covers a lot of the
areas with quite a lot of detail. One of the strengths
of the proposal is the audience part, because
you’ve covered a lot of important points like the
race, gender, class and location of your audience in
a lot of detail.
Another strength is the methods part, as you have
explained what you are going to use, how you are
going to use it and why you’re going to use it.
An area of the proposal which needs further work is
the story overview part. This is because it is very
brief, so you don’t really get a good impression as
to what the full story is about. Another thing is just
to add in the deadline date at the bottom of the
second proposal slide.
What are the strengths of the idea generation? What areas of idea generation could have been
further developed?
A strength of the idea generation slide is that you
have separated it into two parts; character and
environment. This helps to show what your story is
about.
Maybe add some more images to your mood board
as they look a little sparse.
What are the strengths of the proposal? What areas of the proposal need further work?
• There is at least one advantage and
disadvantage of the file type in which will be
used.
• There is a detailed explanation about the
audience in which will be targeted for the book.
• There could be some more detail about the
story outline as it is only a very brief one.
• Add a deadline to the deadline box.
• Could give a specific size for the book; for
example (4”x6”)
What are the strengths of the idea generation? What areas of idea generation could have been
further developed?
• There is some images of the characters in
which could be used in the style in which you
identified for your book (cartoon).
• You have explored images of the environment
also.
• You could explore images of a different style
such as ones in which aren’t cartoon.
• Give more than one example of each character
to give you more ideas to work with when
creating your characters.
What are the strengths of the proposal? What areas of the proposal need further work?
Good justification for the intended art style. This will
work well for the story and for the showing the
differences between the two characters.
The target audience section is very detailed and the
reason for choosing those particular demographics
is explained well.
I think the story could benefit from the character
having an actual reason to burn down the house,
such as getting revenge or to show that the wealthy
are no better than the common folk.
Need a deadline.
What are the strengths of the idea generation? What areas of idea generation could have been
further developed?
The mood board helps to get across the intended
art style. The images of the environment in
particular are really good at doing this. There is a
good variety of styles, yet their characteristics
remain the same which is good to see.
Could put a few more characters onto the first
mood board. Different types of images such as
close ups or clothes they might wear can help to
give a better idea of the type of person they are.
Feedback Summary
Sum up your feedback.
In summary people were quite positive about the proposal and the ideas. People like the
story idea I have gone with and think its suitable for the audience I have picked for the
book as well as agreeing with the character styles I have chosen for them.
Which parts of your feedback do you agree with and why?
The feedback I agree with is that I could of added more detail to the story outline and
described what is happening a bit more within the story. I also agree I could have put
more images into the mood board and have a mind map added in. I also agree that I
defined the audience I will target my book at very clearly, I also agree I put a Varity of
images into the mood board as it defines the characters I intend to create in the book.
Which parts of your feedback do you disagree with and why?
The part of the feedback I disagree with is having to give the character a reason or an
explanation to the fire as I want to leave it to the imagination of the children to make it
more interesting
Original Script
Original Script goes here with link to where it came from
A GIRL once went to the fair to hire herself for servant. At last a funny-looking old
gentleman engaged her, and took her home to his house. When she got there, he told
her that he had something to teach her, for that in his house he had his own names for
things.
He said to her: 'What will you call me?'
'Master or mister, or whatever you please, sir,' says she.
He said: 'You must call me "master of all masters". And what would you call this?'
pointing to his bed.
'Bed or couch, or whatever you please, sir.'
'No, that's my "barnacle". And what do you call these?' said he, pointing to his
pantaloons.
'Breeches or trousers, or whatever you please, sir.'
'You must call them "squibs and crackers". And what would you call her?' pointing to
the cat.
'Cat or kit, or whatever you please, sir.'
'You must call her "white-faced simminy".

Original Script
And this now,' showing the fire, 'what would
you call this?'
'Fire or flame, or whatever you please, sir.'
'You must call it 'hot cockalorum", and what
this?' he went on, pointing to the water.
'Water or wet, or whatever you please, sir.'
'No, "pondalorum" is its name. And what do
you call all this?' asked he as he pointed to the
house.
'House or cottage, or whatever you please, sir.'
'You must call it "high topper mountain".'
That very night the servant woke her master
up in a fright and said: 'Master of all masters,
get out of your barnacle and put on your
squibs and crackers. For white-faced simminy
has got a spark of hot cockalorum on its tail,
and unless you get some pondalorum high
topper mountain will be all on hot cockalorum'
. . . That's all.
1. Story Breakdown
1. Women goes to fair hire herself out as a slave.

7. then shows her the fire and names it the hot cockalorum.
8. points at his trousers and names them the squibs and crackers
9. points at the bed and names it the barnacle
10. women runs in screaming saying his trousers caught fire he must get out
of bed ad the house will catch on fire (“master of all masters get out your
barnacle as your squibs and crackers have caught on hot cockalorum and
have set the rest of the high topper mountain on hot cockalorum so lets go
and fetch some pondalorum quick”) house in flames.
Draft Script
Once upon a time, a poor woman from a small and very quiet Yorkshire town , with not
even a penny to her name, goes to the local fair and puts up a sign selling her self as a
slave to some rich man or woman to be able to afford to live.
A wealthy old man comes along and is interested in her services offers to buy her and
introduces himself as the ‘master of all masters’ making her think he has many slaves and
a very wealthy man.
He takes her back to his house were he asks her what she will call it “mansion or house”
she says
he reply's “no you shall call it the high topper mountain”.
He then takes her inside and shows her the taps and asks tells her to call water the
pondalorum.
He then shows her the dog and tells her she has to call it the white faced simmny not a
dog.
He then shows her the fire place and points at the flames and tells her she has to call it the
hot cockalorum .
He then takes her upstairs and shows her the bedrooms.
He then points at his trousers and then tells her to call them squibs and crackers.
He then tells her to call the bed ‘the barnacle’
later on in the night while she's ironing his squibs and crackers she accidently sets them on
fire
Final Script
once upon a time, a poor woman from a small Yorkshire town, not even a shilling to her
name, heads to the local fair to find a job as a slave. An old wealthy man offers to buy her
as a slaves.
“I am the Master of all masters” he said introducing himself.
As they pull up to the mansion he tells her “you must call this the high topper mountain not
the house.”
He shows her the kitchen and turns the taps on and points to the water, “you must call this
the pondalorum not water”.
The dog walks through the kitchen while the master points and says “you must call this the
white faced simmny”.
They go through the living room and stare at the fire as he points and says “this is the hot
cockalorum”.
He then points at pile of un-ironed trousers and says “you must call each pair a pair of
squibs and crackers”.
He finally shows her the upstairs bedroom and points at the bed and says “you must call
this the barnacle.
While ironing the squibs and crackers they catch fire so she runs up stairs screaming
“master of all master get out of your barnacle the high topper mountain has caught hot
cockalorum, fetch a bucket of pondalorum and save the white faced simmny.

Development pro forma(3)

  • 3. Evaluation What did you like about your image? The things I like about the images are it has the outline of the animal which I was shaping over, I also like different colours and how they all bend together and mix's together to form a fox. I also like that it looks quite natural and the colours of the animal help it to seem more like a natural fox. I also like the detail that as been put into the face as I think it helps it to look more realistic compared to a completely abstract animal. What would you improve if you did it again? The things I would improve would be to blend the colours and make it fit and blend the shapes. I would also choose another image or another animal that would be easier or that’s not sat down or has things that things in front of it.
  • 5. Evaluation What did you like about your image? I like the realism of the face and how it looks a little like the subject and not too cartoony. The different colours within the image are good as they make all the other colours stand out and make the t-shirt look brighter. I also like the way the face sits nicely on the shoulders which helps it to look more naturalistic. What would you improve if you did it again? I would finish the images and add more defined features like make the nose and the ears stand out as well as outlining the shadows and different highlighted areas of the face to make more realistic, as well add shadows to the t-shirt in the image. I would also add a neck to the image so it doesn’t look like the head and hair are just floating above the rest of the body.
  • 7. Evaluation What did you like about your image? I the use of the comic book effect in the image as it adds a bit of depth to the image, it also links to the film from the quote as the film is linked to the characters taking drugs, the effect and style of the image fits that theme of the film, it also like the way one image is on top of the other but has been moved to the side a little to make it look more like its double vision which emphasizes the drugs theme from the film What would you improve if you did it again? The things I would improve would be to add more colour variation to the image, as more colour might make it seem a little brighter as at the moment it looks quite dark and shady. Another part of the image I would improve if I were to do it again would be to adjust the text so that it fits with the actual image by adding another layer exactly the same over the top and then moving one of the layers to the side so it looks doubled like the normal image is.
  • 10. Evaluation What did you like about your image? The things I like about the first image are, the different styles the name shows like the one that’s overlapping as it demonstrates one of the things that can be done with text using Photoshop. Another part of the first image I like is the bottom name that’s stretched across the page as it looks like its quite good and can fill the whole page. The things I like about the second image is the background used behind the name as it makes it stand out from the other page quite a lot. What would you improve if you did it again? If I were to write my name again I would make the effects on the text look better by making them wider then they are or putting them closer together as it would add a little more effect to the name and the image. I would also change the colour scheme to make the name look a little more brighter then it already is. To improve the second page I would make the background of the name brighter or change it to something more personal to the name.
  • 13. Evaluation What did you like about your image? The things I like about the first comic book image that I produced are that it fits with the image as its from a comedy and helps to emphasize that, I also like the colours that are in image as it kind of matches the colour of the main vehicle in the image. The things I like about the second comic book image I produced are the colours as they match the background of the actual image, I also like the image is less blurred around the face to make it stand out from the rest of the image. What would you improve if you did it again? The things I would improve for the first comic book image would be to make sure the background is less blurred from the rest of the image as it kind of blurs the face of the man in the image. I would also add more colour to the image as its all kind of yellow so doesn’t stand out very much. The things I would improve of the second image would be to choose an image that isn’t as pixelated as the one I picked. I would also change the colours of the foreground and make them a little brighter then the background to help make the image stand.
  • 15. Evaluation What did you like about your image? The things I like about the photo-story image is that, it does tell the story that I wanted it to, the story of a guy who finds a key that unlocks a door and he ends up finding another key, the images help to show this story as it shows the key being found, the unlocking of the door and the second key on the floor. Another thing I like about the image is the effects that are on the photo-story like the effect of using the comic book effect on the first few photos until the key is found. I also like the effect of making the image with the key in the door look a little foggy. What would you improve if you did it again? If I was to create the photo-story again the things I would improve the quality of the photographs taken as they are a little grainy so I would try to make sure the images are taken with a device that has a better quality. I would also add more effect to some of the plainer images like zoom in on the key or make the key a lot brighter.
  • 17. Evaluation What did you like about your image? The things I like about the illustrations I created are the different objects that I drew as they are all different drawings of animals or random objects that I could find. I also like the use of the colour on one of the objects as it makes it clearer and helps it to be seen on the page. I like that the outlines can be clearly seen on the page and stands out from the white background and helps to define the image a little more. What would you improve if you did it again? The things I would improve on the illustrations are the fact that the ones without colour cannot be seen very well so I would make it so they are brighter than the white background by adding colour to the images so they stand out more like the green image. I would also add darker outlines so they can be clearly defined on the paper. I would also draw bigger images to they might be a bit clearer.
  • 19. Evaluation What did you like about your image? The things I like about the image is the use of colour as it matches the original image and makes it look good. I also like the way the image looks quite a lot like the original image that is the background, the shapes also make the image look good as they all form a good image and help make it stand out. What would you improve if you did it again? The things I would improve if I were to do it again would be to add more of variation of colour to the image, I would also add more of the background to it as I didn't’t finish the background completely so I would make sure the rest of the background I half completed to the rest of the image to make sure it makes the image look a little better add would add more quality to the rest of the image if it was completely finished.
  • 24. Proposal Dimensions I plan to make the story 10 pages long and the pages being landscape. Story Overview Modern day – A poor woman is looking for work as a cleaner and ends working for an old man who is completely mental and changes the name of every object in the house and confuses the woman and at the end the house accidently gets set on fire and to help the man understand what is happening she has to refer to every object in its new name. Export Format PDF Advantages: The advantages of using a PDF file is its quick and easy to create, the files are securable and easy to compress when saving the files. Disadvantages: The disadvantages of using PDF is that its difficult to edit after saving the file and there are various types of PDF files
  • 25. Deadline 15/6/2016 Audience The age of my target audience is around 3-5 years old, it might also appeal to kids that are a little bit older as this is the age range that would like the type of writing and themes in the book. The gender that this book would appeal to would be both genders as it explores themes for both genders. The book would appeal to the any of the class’ as they all read books to their children. The book would also have to appeal to the parents of the children as they will be the ones to pick out the books to read to their children, British children are the main target for the book as they will be the people to understand the language and the setting of the book, it could also be aimed at other English speaking country's like America or Australia. The book would also appeal to any race of people but only predominantly white as they are the race of the characters of the book. Production Methods The production methods I am going to use either photos or rotascoping to make the characters look more cartoony then realistic, I will also use shapes for the background in some of the pages to keep it simplistic for the reader as they will only be like 2-3 years old, with rotascoping I can add a lot more detail to the characters to add more depth and feeling to the face with the emotions, I can also have different shades to the face an shadows to give the characters some sort of human qualities and human style while still looking cartoony.
  • 26. What are the strengths of the proposal? What areas of the proposal need further work? The proposal is very good as it covers a lot of the areas with quite a lot of detail. One of the strengths of the proposal is the audience part, because you’ve covered a lot of important points like the race, gender, class and location of your audience in a lot of detail. Another strength is the methods part, as you have explained what you are going to use, how you are going to use it and why you’re going to use it. An area of the proposal which needs further work is the story overview part. This is because it is very brief, so you don’t really get a good impression as to what the full story is about. Another thing is just to add in the deadline date at the bottom of the second proposal slide. What are the strengths of the idea generation? What areas of idea generation could have been further developed? A strength of the idea generation slide is that you have separated it into two parts; character and environment. This helps to show what your story is about. Maybe add some more images to your mood board as they look a little sparse.
  • 27. What are the strengths of the proposal? What areas of the proposal need further work? • There is at least one advantage and disadvantage of the file type in which will be used. • There is a detailed explanation about the audience in which will be targeted for the book. • There could be some more detail about the story outline as it is only a very brief one. • Add a deadline to the deadline box. • Could give a specific size for the book; for example (4”x6”) What are the strengths of the idea generation? What areas of idea generation could have been further developed? • There is some images of the characters in which could be used in the style in which you identified for your book (cartoon). • You have explored images of the environment also. • You could explore images of a different style such as ones in which aren’t cartoon. • Give more than one example of each character to give you more ideas to work with when creating your characters.
  • 28. What are the strengths of the proposal? What areas of the proposal need further work? Good justification for the intended art style. This will work well for the story and for the showing the differences between the two characters. The target audience section is very detailed and the reason for choosing those particular demographics is explained well. I think the story could benefit from the character having an actual reason to burn down the house, such as getting revenge or to show that the wealthy are no better than the common folk. Need a deadline. What are the strengths of the idea generation? What areas of idea generation could have been further developed? The mood board helps to get across the intended art style. The images of the environment in particular are really good at doing this. There is a good variety of styles, yet their characteristics remain the same which is good to see. Could put a few more characters onto the first mood board. Different types of images such as close ups or clothes they might wear can help to give a better idea of the type of person they are.
  • 29. Feedback Summary Sum up your feedback. In summary people were quite positive about the proposal and the ideas. People like the story idea I have gone with and think its suitable for the audience I have picked for the book as well as agreeing with the character styles I have chosen for them. Which parts of your feedback do you agree with and why? The feedback I agree with is that I could of added more detail to the story outline and described what is happening a bit more within the story. I also agree I could have put more images into the mood board and have a mind map added in. I also agree that I defined the audience I will target my book at very clearly, I also agree I put a Varity of images into the mood board as it defines the characters I intend to create in the book. Which parts of your feedback do you disagree with and why? The part of the feedback I disagree with is having to give the character a reason or an explanation to the fire as I want to leave it to the imagination of the children to make it more interesting
  • 30. Original Script Original Script goes here with link to where it came from A GIRL once went to the fair to hire herself for servant. At last a funny-looking old gentleman engaged her, and took her home to his house. When she got there, he told her that he had something to teach her, for that in his house he had his own names for things. He said to her: 'What will you call me?' 'Master or mister, or whatever you please, sir,' says she. He said: 'You must call me "master of all masters". And what would you call this?' pointing to his bed. 'Bed or couch, or whatever you please, sir.' 'No, that's my "barnacle". And what do you call these?' said he, pointing to his pantaloons. 'Breeches or trousers, or whatever you please, sir.' 'You must call them "squibs and crackers". And what would you call her?' pointing to the cat. 'Cat or kit, or whatever you please, sir.' 'You must call her "white-faced simminy". http://www.worldoftales.com/European_folktales/English_folktale_42.html
  • 31. Original Script And this now,' showing the fire, 'what would you call this?' 'Fire or flame, or whatever you please, sir.' 'You must call it 'hot cockalorum", and what this?' he went on, pointing to the water. 'Water or wet, or whatever you please, sir.' 'No, "pondalorum" is its name. And what do you call all this?' asked he as he pointed to the house. 'House or cottage, or whatever you please, sir.' 'You must call it "high topper mountain".' That very night the servant woke her master up in a fright and said: 'Master of all masters, get out of your barnacle and put on your squibs and crackers. For white-faced simminy has got a spark of hot cockalorum on its tail, and unless you get some pondalorum high topper mountain will be all on hot cockalorum' . . . That's all.
  • 32. 1. Story Breakdown 1. Women goes to fair hire herself out as a slave. 2. Wealthy man comes to buy her services. 3. introduces himself as master of all masters. 4. shows her the large house and names it the high topper mountain. 5. shows her the taps and running water and names it the pondalorum. 6. shows her the dog and names it the white faced simmny. 7. then shows her the fire and names it the hot cockalorum. 8. points at his trousers and names them the squibs and crackers 9. points at the bed and names it the barnacle 10. women runs in screaming saying his trousers caught fire he must get out of bed ad the house will catch on fire (“master of all masters get out your barnacle as your squibs and crackers have caught on hot cockalorum and have set the rest of the high topper mountain on hot cockalorum so lets go and fetch some pondalorum quick”) house in flames.
  • 33. Draft Script Once upon a time, a poor woman from a small and very quiet Yorkshire town , with not even a penny to her name, goes to the local fair and puts up a sign selling her self as a slave to some rich man or woman to be able to afford to live. A wealthy old man comes along and is interested in her services offers to buy her and introduces himself as the ‘master of all masters’ making her think he has many slaves and a very wealthy man. He takes her back to his house were he asks her what she will call it “mansion or house” she says he reply's “no you shall call it the high topper mountain”. He then takes her inside and shows her the taps and asks tells her to call water the pondalorum. He then shows her the dog and tells her she has to call it the white faced simmny not a dog. He then shows her the fire place and points at the flames and tells her she has to call it the hot cockalorum . He then takes her upstairs and shows her the bedrooms. He then points at his trousers and then tells her to call them squibs and crackers. He then tells her to call the bed ‘the barnacle’ later on in the night while she's ironing his squibs and crackers she accidently sets them on fire
  • 34. Final Script once upon a time, a poor woman from a small Yorkshire town, not even a shilling to her name, heads to the local fair to find a job as a slave. An old wealthy man offers to buy her as a slaves. “I am the Master of all masters” he said introducing himself. As they pull up to the mansion he tells her “you must call this the high topper mountain not the house.” He shows her the kitchen and turns the taps on and points to the water, “you must call this the pondalorum not water”. The dog walks through the kitchen while the master points and says “you must call this the white faced simmny”. They go through the living room and stare at the fire as he points and says “this is the hot cockalorum”. He then points at pile of un-ironed trousers and says “you must call each pair a pair of squibs and crackers”. He finally shows her the upstairs bedroom and points at the bed and says “you must call this the barnacle. While ironing the squibs and crackers they catch fire so she runs up stairs screaming “master of all master get out of your barnacle the high topper mountain has caught hot cockalorum, fetch a bucket of pondalorum and save the white faced simmny.
