konstruksi, teknis dan fungsi sedikit berbeda dengan mesin
konvensional. Secara singkatnya prinsip kerja mesin khusus
sama seperti pada mesin konvensional namun penggunaan
mesin khusus/spesial untuk mencapai keluaran khusus itulah
sebabnya penggunaan ini hanya diaplikasikan secara khusus

tidak dapat bergerak sendirinya, tetapi bergerak secara per-step sesuai
dengan spesifikasinya, dan bergerak dari satu step ke step berikutnya
memerlukan waktu, serta menghasilkan torsi yang besar pada kecepatan
rendah. Motor stepper juga memiliki karakteristik yang lain yaitu torsi
penahan, yang memungkinkan menahan posisinya.

DC biasa adalah :
. Motor stepper kadang-kadang bisa sangat tersentak-
sentak, karena mereka memulai dan menghentikan setiap
langkah dengan dorongan tiba-tiba, yang tidak selalu
seperti yang Anda inginkan jika Anda mencoba membuat
mesin presisi.

• BLDC motor merupakan motor sinkron yang menggunakan
permanen magnet pada rotor serta lilitan pada stator sebagai
medan magnet nya. Cara kerja pada motor BLDC yaitu
permanen magnet yang ada pada rotor akan ditarik dan di
dorong oleh gaya electromagnet stator yang diatur oleh driver
motor. Berbeda dengan motor DC yang menggunakan sikat
atau brush mekanis untuk melakukan komutasi untuk
merubah kutub magnetnya pada stator.

Prinsip dasar medan magnet dimana akan
saling tarik menarik saat pada kutub yang
berbeda serta tolak menolak saat kutubnya
sama merupakan prinsip dasar yang
digunakan pada motor BLDC. Stator yang
diatur oleh driver akan memiliki medan
magnet yang berubah ubah sesuai input dari
back EMF atau sensor hall effect pada motor.
Sehingga permanen magnet pada motor akan
di dorong dan ditarik untuk menghasilkan
putaran pada motor

1. Efisiensi Tinggi. Tidak ada kehilangan tegangan oleh cincin komutator dan brushes.
2. Hemat Biaya Perawatan. Hal ini dikarenakan brushes seperti pada motor
konvensional tidak digunakan lagi.
3. Perbandingan Torsi-Ukuran Lebih Besar. Hal ini disebabkan medan tarik yang
dihasilkan oleh stator sepenuhnya diterima oleh rotor karena rotor terbuat dari medan
magnet permanen.
4. Polusi Suara yang Lebih Rendah. Hal ini dikarenakan gesekan yang dihasilkan
brushes pada motor konvensional dapat dieliminasi.
5. Pendinginan yang Lebih Mudah. Kabel pada motor BLDC menempel pada casing.
Sehingga memudahkan sistem pendinginan. Hal ini merupakan salah satu alasan
pemilihan motor BLDC untuk masa operasi yang panjang seperti pada mobil listrik.
6. Tidak Terjadi Bunga Api. Hubungan antara brush dan komutator yang longgar
menyebabkan terjadinya percikan api, hal ini berbahaya jika motor digunakan pada
industri yang sensitif terhadap percikan api, tetapi dengan menggunakan BLDC
motor, dengan tidak adanya komutator dan brush menyebabkan tidak adanya
percikan api yang dirimbulkan oleh motor.
13. 1. Biaya Pembuatan Mahal. Motor BLDC mempunyai banyak
komponen mahal.
2. Sistem Pengendalian yang Rumit dan Mahal. Hal ini
dikarenakan penggunaan komutator elektronik yang
menggantikan komutator mekanik. Selain itu, pengontrol
kecepatan motor BLDC juga lebih rumit daripada motor DC
konvensional, sehingga juga ikut menaikkan harga.
3. Kontroler Mahal. Seringkali, kontroler motor BLDC justru lebih
mahal daripada motor itu sendiri.

15. Motor dc inersia rendah merupakan perangkat elektromagnetis
yang mengubah energi listrik menjadi energi mekanik. Energi
mekanik ini digunakan untuk, misalnya memutar impeller pompa,
fan atau blower, menggerakan kompresor, mengangkat bahan,dll.
Motor listrik digunakan juga di rumah (mixer, bor listrik, fan angin)
dan di industri. Motor listrik kadangkala disebut “kuda kerja” nya
industri sebab diperkirakan bahwa motormotor menggunakan
sekitar 70% beban listrik total di industri

kanan dengan jempol mengarah pada arah

kecepatan, yang tidak mempengaruhi kualitas pasokan daya.
Motor DC umumnya dibatasi untuk penggunaan berkecepatan
rendah, penggunaan daya rendah hingga sedang, ini
dikarenakan karena sering terjadi masalah dengan perubahan
ara harus listrik mekanis pada ukuranyang lebih besar.Motor
DC juga relative lebih murah dari pada motor AC.
