1. Reference – Ren Cho
As VP of Product and Technology, Ren reported into me as the Global Operations Director from
September 2013 to present date. This role included management of the Korean based web hosting
team as well as the Global Live Operations team. During this time, Ren repeatedly proved himself to
be both dependable and likeable with a great work ethic that was reflected throughout his team.
During his time in the role, he successfully grew the Operations team from two to fifteen people
globally (Korea, Philippines, Ukraine and North America) including an outsourced 24/7 English
speaking Operations team. In particular, the relationships he established with the key external
broadcast and support partners such as KeSPA, Brightcove and Geeks For Less (outsourced
development and support operation), plus the internal product and development team were
excellent.
Ren was responsible for the recruitment, training and continuous monitoring, assessment and
refinement of the Live Operations function resulting in a dramatic increase in customer satisfaction
over a 6 month period.
