Job Purpose:

Job Purpose:
 Responsible for planning and coordinating the over - all activities related to the Quality of raw
materials through checking and analysis to ensure conformances to set raw material standards and
ensuring In-Process and Finished Goods through gas chromatography operation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
 Inspects, tests and analyses of all incoming raw materials (Films (Rolls), Inks and Solvents)
 Follows quality control guidelines in accordance to raw material work instructions and procedures
 Coordinates with Logistics, Warehouse and Accounting department about the raw material updates
and monthly status.
 Prepares monthly reports like %TNV report, Rejection Report Updates and Status, Key
Performance Measures (KPM).
 Documents and coordinates with suppliers regarding raw material discrepancies and concerns.
 Monitors all in-process materials and machine parameters in the flexible and rigid packaging
processes.
 Analyses of residual solvent content of in-process raw materials, work-in processes and finished
goods of packaging material.
 Assists in the regular validation, preventive maintenance and calibration of GC instruments in
coordination with supplier (Shimadzu).
 Monitors regularly GC machine conditions, parameters, materials and prepares corrective action
report from customers regarding solvent odor concerns
 Prepares, reviews, and follows quality control guidelines in GC operations.
 Conducts study and sets new standards of acceptable GC values that would best meetcustomers’
requirements.
 Analyses of rush raw material deliveries in the absence of Jr Laboratory Analyst (Raw Material)
 Performs other tasks / functions assigned by superiors.
