in identifying the treatment techniques which the industry has to adopt to meet the industrial
norms set by the local governing body.
 Extracted organics present in the refinery waste water using solvent method and analyze the
organic layer to derive at the composition using GC-MS.
 Estimated toxic chemicals present in wastewater by colorimetric analysis.
Processing of distillery sludge
 Estimated the total organic content present in the sludge before and after treatment.
 Identified the presence of heavy metal ions/ toxins in the sludge and supported the technology
team in identifying the appropriate chemical treatment method.
 Helped industry in maintaining the norms set by the government by constant analysis of water
samples.
Amine partitioning in refinery desalter unit
 Investigated & evaluated amine partitioning into organic phase for scaling up of the same in
refinery.

 Determined the molecular weights of the different polymers used for controlling dust.
