1 0.53% I like Tyler a lot he was able to explain things in a different way
1 0.53% I liked my SI Teacher, he wasn't afraid to tell us to be quiet which I think may be an issue
since the teachers tend to be either our age or a year older.
1 0.53% I think he was helpful but he needs to explain broadly during SI session so students can
understand. I mean I understand when he explains the materials but what I am saying is that

using to talk about the material.
1 0.53% Well
1 0.53% Well prepared everyday for si
1 0.53% With the three SI's I have this semester, I find the subject to correlate with the personality
and teaching style of the SI leader. Caleb has a very intuitive and critical thinking mind and
personality which makes learning from him very helpful. I feel as though while WCOB 1033
might have come easy to him, he is able to explain concepts differently from my teacher and
in ways that help me understand. This is the one class I dont have an A in and I'm only
managing to keep up a B because of Caleb's explanations. I really want to be helpful and
offer a suggestion, but i don't think anything can be improved past perfection.

1 0.53% Don't need any more games
1 0.53% Due to the fact that the sessions are not live, there is no interactivity, but honestly I usually

1 0.53% Ehh
1 0.53% enough great
1 0.53% Every worksheet we get in groups and discuss the answers and then Caleb discusses how
to solve each answer on the board. It's incredibly helpful.

1 0.53% Games, competition, and group work I think are worthless and we didn't do any of that in
this SI thankfully. Just going over useful problems on the board was the most helpful.
1 0.53% Go over more problems
3 1.58% good

1 0.53% He does more lecture but I like it. He gives us the key points we need.
1 0.53% I feel like we do pretty well at participating in group work, etc, but maybe just assigning us
with groups to work in instead of letting us just do it on our own.
1 0.53% I honestly don't feel interactivity like this helps me, so I would say less of this.
1 0.53% I like it more when it is in a teaching environment rather than doing activities to learn the

1 0.53% I like that the session is fast-paced, covering what we need to know without wasting time.
There's just enough session interactivity.
1 0.53% I like working the problems out and talking through them as a group
1 0.53% I liked how we had things relaxed at the beginning and then worked through problems the
rest of the time.
1 0.53% I really enjoyed one particular session where my SI leader divided the class into 2 big
groups to play jeopardy with questions from a problem set. I think this type of team activity is
a great motivational tool for students to actively reinforce the material with others in the
class. I like any activity that encourages team work and competition. Wish she had hosted
more of these during the semester.
1 0.53% I think doing more problems on the board instead of working them by ourselves would be
more helpful in the future because I found it very helpful when my S.I. leader did problems
on the board.
1 0.53% I think he did plenty of group work and board work which really helped. I think incorporating
some type of game or competition would help give students more incentive to learn the

1 0.53% I think there should be more questions like the homework
1 0.53% I wish there was a way to get my session more involved and enthusiastic about being there.
I know we are there to learn and review, but I feel like I could comprehend the information
being communicated more efficiently if it was enjoyable. IE: a game, Jeopardy, ect.
1 0.53% I would rather see less of this and more focus on the worksheets that are relevant to the
test.
1 0.53% I would suggest to have more competitive games or board work to get everyone more
engaged and involved.
1 0.53% I'm not a big fan of games...however I have enjoyed the group work because it helps me
learn/understand how other people digest the information and process it.

1 0.57% I think there should be at least two sessions a week.
1 0.57% I think they should be longer right before the tests.
1 0.57% I tried to get tutoring for the homework but couldn't find anyone on razortrack
1 0.57% I was great because I had the SI the same day as the class. The length was appropriate
because it gave us time to speak with her individually if we need more help
1 0.57% I wish all SI session were scheduled before 3pm regardless of the day of the week on which
it was held. I don't mind coming to a later session but my brain is already tired by the end of
the day and I think I would concentrate better at an earlier time like 12:30pm or 2:00pm.
1 0.57% I would almost come to this SI session more times a week because it is so helpful compared
to the class. It benefits me more to come to SI than it does to go to class.
1 0.57% In the future, I think it would be helpful to have more sessions offered each week especially
in the mornings because I felt stuck with an awkward timed session because of the lack of
selection.
1 0.57% Increase sessions
1 0.57% it fit well into my schedule and i had no conflicts
1 0.57% It is very difficult for me to make it to SI sessions I have a 5 yr old and it his hard to find
someone to watch him. If SI sessions are going to be mandatory you should allow students
to select times during class enrollment on ISIS. Students should not learn about SI sessions
two weeks into the semester. Not all of us can completely change our schedules. It is really
unfortunate that the University does not take into consideration non- traditional students
when deciding to make SI classes mandatory
1 0.57% It was a good time length
1 0.57% It was a great time and length of time.
1 0.57% It would be nice if there were more times that SI was available, but it's understandable that
the leaders are students too and need time for their stuff.
1 0.57% It would have been beneficial to me if more S.I. sessions would have been available.

1 0.57% same length but two a week would be more benificial
1 0.57% Schedule is perfect
1 0.57% Session length and time was just right. No suggestion
1 0.57% Should let students know there is a mandatory SI when signing up for the class, and let
them sign up for the SI when signing up for the class.
1 0.57% Should only be mandatory if need help.
1 0.57% Shouldnt have it after tests
1 0.57% SI could be longer
1 0.57% SI Schedule's are fine the way they are. Good length, 1 time a week is all that is necessary
to sum up what we have learned that week.
1 0.57% Solid
1 0.57% The class was limited to one SI leader with only 3 available sessions so that made it a little
harder to work around.
1 0.57% The S.I. schedule is good as is in my opinion.
1 0.57% The schedule isn't bad at all. Sometimes the test reviews are hard to make, but that's
because of my crazy schedule and certainly at no fault of him. I appreciate that he holds the
reviews, though.
1 0.57% the session length was just fine, and the number of sessions per week (1) was enough
1 0.57% The sessions could be shorter
1 0.57% The SI doesn't seem that long. I would say have an early SI rather than only late SIs.
1 0.57% The SI length is perfect.
1 0.57% The SI schedule could have been more flexible in the times offered.
1 0.57% The time is fine
1 0.57% There needs to be sessions available directly after our class when the information and our
questions on how to do things are fresh on our minds.
1 0.57% Too long
1 0.57% Try to make them shorter and more focused on practice.

1 0.57% Was good.
1 0.57% Wish there was more of a variety of times because they are very late at night and I run into
troubles with my Sorority on some stuff, but overall not horrible
1 0.57% With there being only one session, it makes each session feel crammed with a lot of
information, because the sessions are suppose to keep up with class and class is three
days out of the week.
1 0.57% Worked out well.

1 0.57% you need to make it where you can attend any session to where it will correlate with your

1 0.66% I don't think instituting online SI sessions for this course would be of much help, at least to
me. I do best when I am face-face with an instructor because I like open exchanges. I am
also a predominantly visual learner so sometimes seeing concepts depicted graphically
really solidifies the material for me.
1 0.66% I don't think it would be helpful for this class
1 0.66% I don't think online SI sessions would be very beneficial. The face to face meetings are more

explain it are nice. You can go back and watch specific ones that you need help with later.
Also, using the videos later for studying is nice. I like that I can "go to" the SI session again if
it's one that I need extra help with.
