Rebecca Rainville was my student in the Hotel Management program at College
LaSalle in Montreal from August 2013 to May 2016. During those sessions we went over
the various techniques of a hotel Front desk, from reservations, check-ins to check-outs.
Very practical courses where we also learn to use a property management system
(Iqware).
Rebecca fulfilled her tasks with little supervision. The tasks required interaction with her
teammates (role plays), as well as the ability to understand the liaison between different
departments of a hotel. Success of this course is very dependent on strong
communication and interpersonal skills.
I am happy to act as a reference for Rebecca and can speak to her customer service
skills, work ethic, computer literacy, and professionalism. Even though I have not seen
her in a professional environment, I truly feel she could be an asset for a property.
