According to the latest jobs report released by the US Department of Labor, the unemployment rate remained at 4.1% for the sixth straight month and average earnings rose by 8 cents an hour. The report also shows 103,000 jobs were created in March, short of Wall Street’s expectation of 185,000 new jobs. Overall, the latest jobs report reflects a strong economy with March marking the 90th consecutive month of job gains.
