2. Ms. Cara A. Finn, BBA, M.Ad.Ed.
Cara Finn is the Director of Economic Development for Middlesex County. Ms. Finn has been working in
the field of Economic and Business Development throughout Lambton and Middlesex Counties for the past
twenty years.
Ms. Finn is credited as a dedicated relationship-builder, and an active volunteer who has served on numerous
committees and Boards. She currently oversees all Economic Development and Tourism initiatives of Mid-
dlesex County, and represents the area on committees including those of the South Western Ontario Tourism
Corporation, South Central Ontario Region Economic Development Corporation, Ontario Food Cluster,
London Chamber of Commerce, and Middlesex Workforce Development
Ms. Finn holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, and a Master’s Degree in Adult Education
with specialization in Community Development and Entrepreneurial Education. She is an avid supporter of
Community Engaged Learning and consistently works together with colleges and universities in the area to
provide real-world experiences to students in a variety of disciplines.
Originally from Sarnia, Ontario, Ms. Finn has resided in Middlesex County for the past 15 years; where she
enjoys time with her two very active children; daughter Jaiden, age 10 and son Carter, age 6.
Geoff Evans is the founder of SocialMediaCoach.ca, as well as a professor in the Corporate Communications
and PR program at Fanshawe College. He focuses on helping businesses tell their stories through social
media, animated video and website design.
Geoff learned the art of storytelling as an English Literature graduate at the University of Waterloo. He has
also spent more than 20 years exploring storytelling as an actor in theatre, TV, and radio.
Geoff has 3 cats. 1 wife. And a subscription to HelloFresh that enables him to be an amateur chef three days
a week.

Trisha Beausaert is an award-winning communications professional, event planner, and digital media
champion. She is currently the Public Relations Manager for Voices.com, the industry-leading website that
connects businesses with professional voice talent. She is a previous graduate of Western Univerisity.
Trisha has worked with some of the biggest media outlets in North America, including The Wall Street Jour-
nal, Forbes, The LA Times, BBC, Entrepreneur Magazine, The Globe and Mail, CBC, and The National Post.
Trisha is driven by economic development, social media, and the thrill of a media hit.
