“If you have seen one rig move,
you have seen one rig move.”
Ensure your drilling program is
completed on time, and under
budget!
Every rig move is different, possessing unique
challenges, sometimes different challenges each
day. Customization is key, and Check-6 Rig Move
Excellence™ (RME™) provides the customization
necessary for a safe, efficient and effective rig move
every time.
With RME, Check-6 Coaches execute the planning,
briefing, and debriefing of rig moves. They address
Leadership, Processes, and Team Performance. They
identify risks, provide safety assistance, and mentor rig
leadership.
All of the data detailed during the rig move is put into a
proprietary computer program, the Event Management
System (EMS). This provides clients with reviews on the
performance of their rigs, and can pass down lessons
for future rig moves. The EMS also allows Check-6 to
track client’s progress compared to their specific goals
and against the competition.
With almost 3000 rig moves all over the world, Check-6
Rig Move Excellence™ (RME™) leads in lasting results.

PLAN - Check-6 meets with you to establish goals for a unique Rig Move Program. We handpick a Coach
(or Coaches) based on their expertise to facilitate the rig moves for the client. The Coach organizes a Pre Rig
Move Meeting with the trucking company, rig personnel and any other applicable parties. The Coach helps this
team design a rig move plan unique to the particular rig move, including load lists, laydown schematics, route
assessments, rig diagrams, workflows and anything else needed.
BRIEF - Overall program goals are discussed in depth, ensuring that all parties understand and commit to
them. Topics include safety and risk concerns, company policies, an emphasis on doing things correctly the first
time, and debriefing previous lessons learned. A "debrief culture" creates an active learning environment where
good habits are encouraged, and challenges are mitigated or avoided. These briefs and debriefs occur throughout
the move and are key to improved performance.
EXECUTE - While executing the move, the Coach helps design, build and sustain a viable rig move program,
continually adjusting to combat the dynamic rig move environment. This flexibility allows for moves to continue
occurring safely and efficiently. Check-6 provides Daily Reports, progress for each segment, rig move milestones,
accomplished loads, safety issues of note, highlights of excellent work by rig individuals, and lessons learned.
These reports can be customized and tailored for your concerns.
DEBRIEF - When the rig move is complete, a Final AAR will be provided summarizing the move and any major
highlights. The data gained over the span of several rig moves will be used to provide the client with performance
reviews showing how the program is progressing towards organizational goals and how it is supporting the
drilling program as a whole.
Along with internal measurements, Check-6 uses its extensive and broad experience to advise the client how
they are performing against industry benchmarks. This strategic information is a venefit only our clients can take
advantage of. The use of debrief culture creates an active learning environment where good habits are encouraged
and challenges are mitigated or avoided. This debrief culture not only fosters improved team performance and
process improvement, but leadership development as well. The unique military experience and training of Check-6
coaches has built habits and techniques to get the most out of human teams. “Debriefing” is key to that success.
