Reference for Ray Oaklands
I confirm that I have known Ray Oaklands since early 2008, when
he joined the Multi Role Tanker Transport Australian Conversion Centre in the
Planning Department and his subsequent advancement to Payroll
Coordinator.
I was employed by the Department of Defence as the project
Quality and Compliance Assurance Officer and interacted with Rayon a daily
basis.
On a working level, I always found Ray to be very professional,
honest and articulate in his dealings with the customer as well as my
observations of his interaction with his subordinates, peers and managers
alike. I also found Ray to be reliable and responsive to any requests made of
him.
Ray worked in an environment that could often prove to be
challenging for a number of reasons. I have witnessed his calm methodical
analysis of a risky situation and ensure that those responsible were aware of
the steps needed to bring this project back to an acceptable way forward.
Ray was always calm and courteous, even when placed under considerable
pressure.
In summary, I am very pleased that Ray asked me to provide a
reference for him, as I have no hesitation to recommending him to any
position he feels qualified to fill. I would happily work with Ray again if the
opportunity arose.
