Fennario Coffee is an independent coffee shop in the West Chester area. It is a small coffee shop that
includes elaborate/family like relationships with the regulars and staff members. There are a total of 5
people working at the establishment.
 Barista:Coffees, teas, and minimalfoodpreparation. Ordersand managerialwork.
 Art Director: I was in chargeof organizingart showsat thecoffeeshop. I was also in chargeof changingtheartwork in
theshop every other month.
 Social Media: I created thisjob for myselfshortly after I was hired. This included creatingand maintainingan Instagram
and Facebook pagefor thecoffeeshop.@FennarioWestChester I createdimages with text promotingthecoffeeshop,
and takingpicturesof regulars.

This was one of my most successful ventures. I organized art shows for the community. I also promoted
local artists. Mission Statement- “Where Creativity is valued over profit. Our mission is to promote loca l art
within the community and t o serve as a platform for artists to grow.”

Mellow Mushroom is a corporate restaurant that primarily serves specialty pizzas and craft beer. The
restaurant is located one mile from the University of Alabama football stadium. I worked with a high volume
of customers, large sections, and private parties. I started out as a host and quickly became a server and a
bartender. I am a very hard worker and wanted to learn every aspect of the restaurant business. When
possible I took it upon myself to cross train in many areas including the kitchen. At Mellow Mushroom as a
front of house worker I worked hard to establish relationships with customers. Customers would often
request me by name when dining in. As a co -worker I formed great relationships with not only the front of
house, but the back of house as well which made for a smooth transition from kitchen to table. I loved
working at Mellow Mushroom!

menu options, working privateparties, and being knowledgeable with over one hundred twenty beers.
 Shift Leader: Responsibilities included waiting tables, closing therestaurant, and deciding when other workers
could go home.
 Bartender: Responsibilities included answering phones, takeout orders, private parties, mixed drinks, talking
about beer.
 Art Director: Responsibilities included painting murals, advertising limited time specials.

I was a major contributor in the development of Tuscaloosa's art scene. I and a few of my close friends set
up a group of local artists in town and together we created The Maubilans Art Collective. We organized
several art shows at various locations by working p rimarily with local businesses that needed more business
or new businesses that needed help with advertising. The Art Collective required lots of networking and
great organizational skills. We were able to advertise without having to invest a lot of mone y by taking full
advantage of local papers and online interviews.
 MuralPainter: Responsibilities included paintingmurals and artinstallationsfor people’s homes.
 Band Artist: Responsibilities included designingposters,silk-screeningT-shirts, and designingother merchandise.
 Event Coordinator: Responsibilities included findingvenues, bookingbandsfor event, settingup efficientways to
