Do you often listen to motivational music at work? Well, know that although there is still
much controversy about the use of musical backgrounds during working hours, the fact is
that many studies around the world have proven the benefits of musicalization in the
business environment and how much listening to music helps to motivate people and
increase their productivity.
I, for example, believe that a good soundtrack makes all the difference in the learning
process. So much so that, in my training rooms, I built sound systems that make all the
difference in the training of my students, as they provide the right frequency, vibration and
emotion, at the right time, which powerfully enhances the way they learn and evolve.
Music is part of our lives and it is natural that we want to bring it to our work environment as
well. Often, in addition to their lyrics helping us to maintain a good level of motivation, they
also enable us to stay focused on the activities we are doing, without being disturbed by
outside noise. If you use headphones at work, you know exactly what I'm talking about and
how much of a difference it really makes!
It is important to consider this because we usually share our professional space with other
people, with different roles and times and who, for various reasons, need to interact with
each other or even with leaders and clients. As such, we need to have devices that help us
to maintain concentration on the tasks we are performing so that external noises do not end
up interfering with our productivity and hampering our performance.
