Exercise should be a regular part of every individual's
weekly schedule. Whether it is simply walking to and from
 work, or making time to go to the gym several times a
 week, exercise keeps your body healthy and your mind
active. Health professionals and ambitious entrepreneurs
have recognized the need to keep individuals, particularly
 people that live in cities and work desk jobs, active and
 healthy, and as a result, there are literally hundreds of
ways for people to maintain the minimum requirement of
                      weekly exercise.
Simply because exercise is important however, that does
   not mean that it is always an easy task to accomplish.
    Work weeks are long and can be tiring. After a long,
  perhaps stressful day at work, it is probably extremely
tempting to forego the gym in favor of your television and
 a bowl of ice cream. It is important to find ways to keep
  yourself motivated to exercise regularly. One effective
 motivator is workout music. Choosing the right music for
your workout will help to keep you inspired, while keeping
   your mind off of that comfy and inviting couch that is
                waiting for you back home.
To identify good workout music for your purposes, first
answer a few simple questions: What type of workouts do
you typically do? What is it that inspires you in music? And
     finally, how long do your workouts typically last?
The type of workout that you do will likely affect the types
 of music that will complement the workout. For instance,
  if you are intending to do an at-home yoga session, you
    will likely be looking for music that is serene and that
allows you to enter a peaceful and focussed state of mind.
     If you are planning on taking a brisk jog in the park
   however, you will likely need a music selection with a
 steady, driving rhythm, and a melody that will keep your
                      mind off of your feet.
Identify what you like about the types of music you listen
to. Are the words important to you, or is the complexity of
     the music or the interesting melody that keeps you
   listening? Identify music that keeps you guessing, and
attempt to mix the music up, so that even if your workout
            is predictable, your music will not be.
Finally, identify how long your workouts should ideally be,
and be sure to have enough music on your workout mix to
 satisfy that length of time. There is nothing less inspiring
  than having to finish those last ten hard minutes of the
 workout, and having your good workout music run out at
                       a pivotal point.
