An avionics research lab had the challenging task of building an end-to-end flight control
system for an aircraft. This required a wide range of software; low-level programs to evaluate
chips, a mission-critical kernel, bus controllers & device drivers, applications to control tens of
subsystems, emulators of gadgets to form test rigs and a whole range of integrated test suites.
What they were looking for was a strong technology and project management organization to
stand by them during this decade long development.
One of the largest American OEMs wanted a service provider to jointly work with their global
competency center on a variety of projects – Software applications for clients to whom they sell
hardware, Consulting assignments, Help Desks and Project Teams to address specific
technology requirements.
An European advertising conglomerate had a large internal IT company. With growing
application needs, they needed a vendor-partner to handle all their new application
development needs. As a pilot they wanted to design and develop an integrated media
advertising system, followed by a host of mobile services and on going maintenance of their
media applications.
A Swiss consulting house had to service a number of clients and need to expand their team.
Their idea was to keep a lean team of project managers, onsite, to handhold clients while major
part of development is done offshore, there by giving their clients the best benefits of comfort
and cost. In short have an extended team in India working closely with their team in Zurich.
An international medical equipment organization wished to set up their research and
development center in India. They wanted someone to support them in the start-up process.
Form an Indian entity, put together a team, set-up processes, offer infrastructure and operate
the center. Plan was to later address the Indian market from this base. Basically, looking for total
support for their India base creation activity.
A fast growing fund management product company was very cautious about their IPR. They
were against outsourcing any work, instead thinking of creating their own ODC. They wanted
a team of over fifty engineers formed within a few months and were considering team
incubation or Build-Operate-Transfer options.
This high-value capital equipment company has been selling products in India for decades.
However, they had no base or physical presence in India. They were working with non-
