3. INTRODUCTION
We are more dependent on vehicles to reach our destination.
Considering the demand of passengers, the number of vehicles in our
country is increasing every year. At the same time, the number of road
accidents and casualties is increasing. Deaths are on the rise due to
failure to detect accidents at the right time. We have created an
automatic accident detection device with the aim of reducing the number
of casualties. Which will be able to detect and send messages and phone
calls.
4. 1.Gyroscope Sensor used to detect abrupt vibration when an accident
happen. Detection and messaging system composed of a GPS
receiver, microcontroller and GSM modem.
2. GSM modem sends message to the predefined mobile number.
OBJECTIVE
6. GPS stands for Global Positioning System. GPS is used to trace the
position GPS Receiver gets the location information from satellites.

8. Gyroscope Sensor
Accelerometers in mobile phones are used to detect the orientation of the
phone. The gyroscope, or gyro for short, adds an additional dimension to
the information supplied by the accelerometer by tracking rotation or twist.
9. GSM and GPS module is connected to our microcontroller for Detect
location and send SMS. Our desired work is written on a program into
microcontroller. A gyroscope sensor is connected to microcontroller which
detect the accident. Also two proximity sensor is connected to
microcontroller which is for detect other front and back vehicle.
Working Procedure
12. The final result is here. Now we can detect the accident location of any
vehicle using our device in vehicle.
RESULT & DISCUSSION
The main idea is to notify the concerned authorities about an accident.
With the addition of above discussed functionalities, this system can
resolve most of the accident scenarios by detecting accidents on time.If
implemented with proper planning and resources, this framework could
serve to be a great help to the society. Hence, there is need of such
systems that could save the lives involved with accidents.
13. 1. The immediate medication will be provided to the accident victims in the
remote areas.
2. Mobile number can be changed at any time.
3. Automatic Zone detection.
4. We can use more than two receivers phone number.
ADVANTAGES

1. In our country still we don’t have full stable network. So some time for
network interrupt we got SMS in late.
2. Some time GPS sensor cant read the location due to its construction.

★ We can make use of artificial Intelligence and IoT together for the
safety.
★ This can also be developed by interconnecting a camera to the
controller module that takes the photograph of the accident spot that
makes tracking easier.
FUTURESCOPE
17. Conclusion
This work Speed is one of the most significant causes of an
accident. Nowadays, GPS receiver has become an integral part of a
vehicle. Besides using in other purposes, the GPS can also monitor
the speed and detect an accident. It can use a very cheap and
popular GSM modem to send the accident location to the Alert
Service Centre. It can also send the last speed before accident
which will helps to assess the severity of the accident and can
initiate a voice call. Thus, the proposed system can serve the
humanity by a great deal as human life is valuable.
