Sensex up by 0.05%@19742.47pts,Nifty down by 0.17%@5840.55pts.
European indices FTSE, DAX & CAC were up by 0.88% to 1.24% resp.
NASDAQ was up by 0.17%, Dow Jones Ind. Avg. was up by 0.49% resp.
Sensex up by 9.71 pts @ 19742.47 & Nifty down by 10.05 pts @ 5840.55 The Nifty
declined for a third day on Monday, dragged by Ranbaxy Laboratories Ltd shares which
recorded their biggest intra-day fall after an import alert ban from the U.S. drug regulator,
while faster-than-expected rise in August inflation also weighed. HSBC downgraded
Indian shares to "underweight" from "neutral", citing the recent rally and downside risks
to growth.TCS Ltd Fell 2.6 percent, Infosys Ltd Lost 1.1 %while HDFC Gained 2.2%.
