Optimizing solar cell interconnection processes to handle different materials and improve processes for 4-6 busbar cells. Researching more efficient and silver-free PV ribbons. Exploring methods to make lower cost and defect-free manual soldering. Introducing temperature controlled soldering and electro luminescence testing.
Experimenting with encapsulation processes using different materials like EVA and polyolefin to reduce times while maintaining properties. Working on junction box and framing processes and anodizing quality.
Developing test equipment like LID testers for solar cells and modules and a PID oven.

Process Optimization:
Solar cell interconnection technology: Optimize the process for changing of the Solar
cells makes, PV ribbon, and Flux and fine tune existing current recipe to take handle
incoming variation of the respecting materials. Work together with Stringer manufacturer
to upgrade interconnection process which is suitable 4 to 6 busbar solar cells.
Researching alter high efficient and silver free PV ribbon such as LCR ribbon form
Ulbrich, White/Black color ribbon from Bruker etc.
Layup and Interconnection: Explore practices, jigs and fixture to make easier defect
free low cost manual soldering process. Introduce temperature controlled soldering Iron to
reduce chance of defect and microckack in solar cells. Introduce Electro luminance
inspection with it failure catalog and Voltage measurement before lamination step of PV
modules.
Encapsulation/Lamination process: Explore process conditions for different kinds of
encapsulate materials such as first cure EVA, polyolefin, white back-sheet, colored back-
sheet etc. Reducing process time by alerting temperature without affecting gel content or
Dynamic Mechanical Properties.
Junction box and framing: Explore process steps and define practices for any new
types of Junction Box. Work with frame supplier regarding new design of aluminum
channel and anodizing quality of the frame.
IV measurement and HiPot testing: Work with ISE fraunhofer institute and arrange
calibration reference solar panel on regular basis.
Experience on equipment and tools: Somont RAPID4 and Peel force tester, Manual
and robotic framing machine,Temperature controller soldering Iron, 3S Laminator,
Montech DMA ,EL tester, Voltage measurement system and Pasan AAA flasher.
Product development
Experimentation and Designed successfully new product such as Glass-Glass module,
Colored glass modules (Kromatix El-Sol Poly), Tetrasun crystalline modules, and Low
cost Solon Blue and Black standard crystailline modules.
Cost reduction
Working on regular basis for cost reduction by altering new source of materials, change
design, increasing through put.
Test equipment development
2. Design and built a few essential test equipments like LID tester solar cells, LID tester for
solar modules, PID Oven etc.
Certification
Having good knowledge for IEC, UL standard, PID and cost effective way PV module
certification. Work with TUV Germany, TUV India, CSA group (Canada) to certify solar
module for Solon international and OEM customers of SOLON. Responsible to arrange
approval of Solar modules in different country or nation as example DEWA , clean energy
council Australia. I am also responsible to handle and organize external technical audit for
Factory and products as example of audit from TUV, JET, and CSA etc.
Process control and debug: Monitor various process parameters and conduct brain
storming section and implement idea to make it control again. Expert on various statistical
tools like MinTab , JAMP etc.
