1. How important is effective employee relations to the achievement of a
company?
● It is important to have effective and healthy employee relations so that they will
have a strong structure of being more motivated and passionate about doing their
job/work, do their best and build good teamwork since I believe that your work can be
also your second family or home and a family that works together smartly will succeed
and grow together.
2. What is the effect of too much dependent on electronic gadgets to good
employee relations? Explain your answer.
● Being too dependent on electronic gadgets we tend to neglect the importance of
workplace personal interaction that causes decreased vital personal interaction that
may lead to poor communication skills and unhealthy relation of the employees.
3. Give the reasons why employees unionize explain each reason given?
● Employees unionize because of financial need, which means that they unionize so
that they can earn more money, have better benefits, and help employers create a
more stable, productive workforce in which workers have a say in improving their jobs.
As you plan your future, consider where your best career opportunities are and how
union membership can help, unfair management practices which means when
employees unionize leads to fair and equal opportunities in the workplace and brings
harmonious working relations between employers and social and leadership concerns
which means Men and women are social beings. Therefore, workers have a strong
need to be accepted by their peers, to belong, and to go along with others and have
an equal opportunity in their workplace. It gives workers the power to negotiate for
more favorable working conditions.

● The following is the steps in union organizing;
1. Employee/ union contact
2. Initial organization meeting
3. Formation of in – house organizing committee
4. Is a sufficient number of employees support the union movement the organizer
request for a representation election or certification election
5. End of union organizing
6. Prepare negations
7. Develop strategies
8. Conduct negotiations
